Allison Williams looks radiant in glittering gold dress for stunning new magazine shoot

Allison Williams has revealed how motherhood influenced her role in upcoming horror film M3GAN.

Williams, who gave birth to her first child last year, plays Gemma, a woman who develops a robot programmed to protect her orphaned niece from physical and emotional harm.

Talking with City and countryside Family Issue from February 2023, Williams, 34, shared how he grew a “greater appreciation of what’s at stake” for his character after expanding his own family in real life.

Gemma begins the film with no children of her own before eventually taking care of two: her niece Cady (Violet McGraw) and M3GAN (voiced by Jenna Davis).

“I became a mom and that made everything so much more interesting, because that’s the whole arc of Gemma,” Allison told the publication.

“One that she created from scratch and the other that she inherited, which although it shares her DNA, is not hers,” she said, referring to her niece and the robot.

“That was going to be difficult, but it also became more interesting as a performer to bring this person to life, having a greater appreciation of what’s at stake,” Allison said.

Allison welcomed her first child, a son named Arlo, late last year with her fiancé Alexander Dreymon.

Alexander, who starred alongside Allison on Horizon Line, confirmed that he had popped the question to Allison in December 2022, and she showed off her diamond ring at the M3GAN premiere.

She confirmed that she was indeed engaged to Alexander. during his interview with Town & Country.

Acting isn’t the only thing that has been influenced by motherhood, Allison’s way of eating has also been.

She revealed that she recently became a vegetarian after seeing a dead rabbit dragged away by her dog and feeling sympathy for the mother who gave birth to the creature.

“I’m thinking, like, this rabbit had a mother who took it in,” he said.

Allison, who is the daughter of prominent newscaster Brian Williams, also acknowledged how her privileged background played a role in her landing the role of Marnie on HBO’s Girls.

Allison admitted that she and her co-stars weren’t “random, like from towns where no one else has broken through”.

‘For someone with no connections to our business to get to where I was able to start, skill aside, that’s what people mean. And that is legit,” she said.

Allison landed the role a week after moving to Los Angeles.

She landed on Girls producer Judd Apatow’s radar after he spotted her in a viral video singing Nat King Cole’s Nature Boy to the Mad Men theme song.

Allison continued to turn heads with her stunning Town & Country cover.

She struck a variety of poses in a variety of stunning gold looks, which included a glam metallic dress that showed off her toned arms.

She wore that dress on one of the magazine’s two February covers.

On another cover, she rocked a sequin-embellished turtleneck and a regal chain necklace.

Allison’s new film, M3GAN, will hit theaters on January 6, 2023.
