Alison Hammond’s Russian toyboy David Putman’s mum Olga has urged him to ‘dump’ the This Morning star.

The TV presenter, 49, has been dating the Russian masseur, 26, since she booked him for a £150 massage and the pair hit it off.

Their friendship is said to have turned romantic at the end of last year, despite the 23-year age difference between the two.

But his mother has reportedly begged David to leave Alison because of the age difference and the fame she has gained for her son.

According to The sunsaid a source: ‘She feels uncomfortable that her son is with someone who has so much more financial power than him. Olga’s traditional values ​​do not fit well with their relationship.

‘She told him in no uncertain terms that he had to end it. Olga raised her children in the Orthodox Church. This type of relationship does not fit her beliefs.

‘She calls her son almost every day and tells him how unhappy she is. But David is happy with his relationship, so anything his mother says won’t affect him.’

Alison has opened up about their relationship and confirmed he even has her son Aiden’s seal of approval.

Speaking about the relationship for the first time on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Parenting Hell podcast, the comedians quizzed the TV star, asking: ‘Are you single Alison?’

She acted coy and said, “No…I’m not single…I’m dating. I’m dating!’

Alison is mother to her only child, Aiden, whom she shares with her former husband Noureddine Boufaied, and Rob and Josh asked about the complexities of dating now that her son is almost an adult.

Aiden is 19 years old, just a few years younger than her new boyfriend David, who is believed to be in his mid-20s.

Alison explained the struggle and confessed: “It’s harder, he’s more verbal now that he’s older. He will want to know who this person is and he will want to meet him.

‘It’s a lot more difficult. He wants to know that this man treats me well.

‘The person I’m seeing at the moment is on his Instagram saying, “Yes, I like him, he’s not too in your face”. Aiden is working on it.”

Last month, Alison shared photos of her and David together on social media, including one of them cozying up with their arms around each other during a country walk.

David is believed to be around 20 years younger than 49-year-old Alison, and is said to be ‘happier than ever’ with her new partner after a ‘turbulent love life’.

Discussing the first time David and her son met, she revealed: “When they met he really liked him, he really thought he was nice, so that’s nice.

‘Thank God! Because Aiden normally hates everyone I date, literally just not interested.

“And at that moment you just know, if Aiden doesn’t like them, this isn’t going to work. There are times when I think, “Who’s the parent here?!”

Originally from Krasnodar in Russia, David left the country for Britain in December 2022 to escape the front line following President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

David’s father is reportedly a retired welder and panel beater who moved to Russia in the late 1990s after marrying Russian architect Olga Kovalenko following a divorce from his first wife.

David also has two brothersthe twins Apollo and Sviatoslov, who are three years older than him and were born in England.

They explained: ‘David is a very quiet, modest and thoughtful person who enjoys playing the guitar. He’s the strong, silent type, not a braggart, but not talkative like Alison.

‘In that sense they are a perfect match and for David age is just a number. Fame doesn’t bother him, he probably didn’t even know who Alison was when they first met.’

The Sun has also reportedly spoken to David himself, but he is yet to discuss his reasons for leaving Russia or his relationship with Alison.

Alison hinted at their growing relationship in November when she liked David’s post documenting a recent trip to Dublin.
