Alison Hammond has revealed that she once met pop superstar Rihanna on a flight after cabin crew moved her to first class.
The TV host made the revelation on Friday’s This Morning episode when she and co-host Dermot O’Leary spoke with former Big Brother star Kate Lawler about Rihanna’s upcoming Super Bowl LVII halftime performance.
When discussing who they thought might appear with the Barbadian singer, 34, Alison mentioned that she met her once.
She detailed the encounter: ‘I saw her on a flight,’ she said, and Kate asked: ‘Was she in economy class?’

On Thursday, Rihanna revealed her hopes for her Super Bowl LVII halftime show, revealing that she signed up for her son and to represent black and immigrant women.

Alison’s reveal comes after she celebrated her 48th birthday with her son Aiden, who also turned 18 at their joint party on Saturday night.
