Alex Fevola has revealed what really happened at the Caulfield Cup after she was pictured in the middle of an apparently tense moment with partner Brendan.
In exclusive photos published by Ny Breaking Australia, the make-up artist, 46, shows off an animated display, gesticulating with her hands as she spoke to her husband at the Melbourne racing event.
Alex, 46, insisted on Fifi, Fev and Nick’s breakfast radio show on Thursday that she had no feud with Brendan.
“I was so animated because I was so excited when the security guard (daughter) had asked Mia and me for ID bands and I told him, ‘I’m her mother,’” she explained.
“I told this story to Brendan. There was no discussion.’

Alex and Brendan attended the racing carnival event with their model daughter Mia, 23, and her new boyfriend Bass Miller.
The make-up artist looked glamorous in a white lace gown as she joined the NRL star, who wore light blue trousers.
Meanwhile, Mia dared to bare in a mini dress, white fascinator and matching heels, while her high school sweetheart looked debonair in a white suit and midnight blue shirt.
Brendan and makeup artist Alex married in 2005 but divorced in 2014.
However, their separation was short-lived, with the couple reuniting later that same year, before getting engaged in 2016.
Alex told Fifi, Fev and Nick’s breakfast radio show on Thursday that she had no argument with Brendan and actually told him how security had asked her for an ID band.
Shortly after being crowned the winner of the 2016 season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Brendan proposed to Alex – for the second time – in front of their children.
Brendan adopted Mia after she married her mother in 2005 and the couple are the proud parents of three other daughters: Leni, 12, Lulu, eight, Tobi, two.
Brendan told radio host Dave Thornton on the Fifi and Dave show at the time: “I was a bit nervous, I didn’t think she would say yes.”
“Because we’ve been married before and we’re obviously divorced. It was really beautiful with the children there.’
