Aussie shoppers are obsessed with from Aldi’s high-quality and affordable steaks: ‘Everyone’s surprised’

Many Australians say they have given up on finding high quality steak at major supermarkets and are struggling to afford local butcher prices amid the cost of living.

However, an Aldi shopper said he no longer has to miss Australia’s favorite dinner after discovering cheap and tasty steaks at Aldi.

The Sydney man swears by the cheap fillet steak from Jindurra Station supermarket for around $12 each or $42.99 per kilo, and says he was surprised by how tasty it was.

He prepared a steak sandwich with cheese, basil, onion and peppers for a delicious and hearty meal.

‘Aldi steaks are so delicious. Even butchers are surprised by the quality of this,” he said in a post Aldi fans Australia.

‘Turkish bread toasted with cheese, butter, fresh onions, peppers and basil from my garden.’

The home chef grilled the steak with herb butter, then cut it into pieces and garnished with some Caesar salad dressing and fresh basil.

Shoppers were impressed with the find and its affordable meal and agreed that Aldi’s steaks were top class.

‘That sounds and looks delicious!’ one woman replied and the other said, ‘I’ve had this for the second time on Friday. Hubby bakes them nice and rare on the barbecue. So good’.

‘Aldi thinly sliced Scottish fillets are one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The marbling is unreal,” a third commented.
