A relaxed Russell Crowe takes selfies with fans before attending the press conference in Malta – ahead of his band’s performance
Russell Crowe befriended the locals of Malta on Friday.
The Australian actor stopped to take selfies with fans outside a press conference in Valletta.
The 59-year-old, who was on his way to an event to promote his upcoming performance with his band, Indoor Garden Party, appeared relaxed and cheerful.
Russell opted for a comfortable outfit, including a polo shirt and dark pants, as well as designer sunglasses.
He beamed for photos with his loyal admirers and even held up a fan’s camera to capture the perfect shot.

It comes after Russell and his girlfriend Britney Theriot took a private jet to pick up their new puppy Ezekiel to make sure he arrived safely at their home.
The couple tragically lost their 16-month-old Papillon puppy Louis in March after he was hit by a truck, so Russell said they were extra careful with Ezekiel.
Crowe said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show that Britney fell instantly in love with the puppy after seeing his picture online and asked if she could fly out and buy him.
“I’m dealing with Britney, whose grief was so great that I put her on a little plane and sent her to the dog, then she picked him up and came home,” Crowe told the hosts.

It comes after Russell and his girlfriend Britney Theriot took a private jet to pick up their new puppy Ezekiel to make sure he arrived safely at their home.

Crowe said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show that Britney fell instantly in love with the puppy after seeing his picture online and asked if she could fly out and buy him.
“I know I look a bit of a tos*er, but it’s what I have to do now to help Britney.”
Fortunately, the trip home went smoothly and now the Crowe family is working hard to welcome the adorable dog into their household.
He added that they were so devastated by Louis’ tragic passing that they eased the grieving process by adopting an identical puppy, which he brought to the KIIS FM studio.
“This is Ezekiel. Say hello to everyone,” he said, lifting the excited black and white spaniel onto his lap during a video interview.

Ezekiel, another Papillon, looked exactly like the last Russell puppy he owned with Britney, all having the same facial markings and colors.
“At first we both thought, ‘Well, he’s irreplaceable.’ We put so much emotion into that little dog, and then he died just as tragically as he did,” he said.
“The only way we could really prevent that from going so fast was to get another puppy. The sadness is still there.’
