A man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a luxury Manhattan apartment building.

Members of the NYPD Evidence Collection Team were seen removing the body of the 58-year-old man, identified as Steven Lord, from 310 East 53rd Sunday afternoon.

The Midtown luxury block is home to 88 apartments, along with a full-time doorman and a host of amenities in one of New York’s most desirable neighborhoods.

Officers were seen removing the victim’s body from the building. The male victim is understood to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Sunday afternoon.

The victim’s body was seen being carried out of the luxury apartment building.

Evidence was collected from the scene by NYPD officers.

His death came as the company announced plans to close 150 stores, out of its roughly 900, and lay off 20 percent of staff just two days before Arnal’s death.

A 40-year-old woman also jumped in late September from 157 East 57th Street in the Sutton Place neighborhood.

A woman was found with injuries that were consistent with a fall, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
