- Life coach Brianna Antionette posted the video of her chickens on TikTok
- The birds froze for more than two minutes and refused to move
- Commentators suggested the birds were frozen in fear
A woman is convinced there was ‘a glitch in the matrix’ after her chickens stopped moving and stayed in place for more than two minutes.
Brianna Antionette posted a TikTok yesterday of herself feeding at least five hungry chickens, which sprinted into the air for just a few seconds. clamp.
The birds suddenly stopped running at the same time and stayed in place near a shiny green light, despite Antionette’s attempts to get them moving.
The life coach couldn’t believe her eyes and kept wondering what caused the birds to get stuck in time.
When she shouted ‘Nick’, the chickens started running again as if nothing had happened, leaving her stunned.

Antionette wasn’t the only TikToker to be surprised by her chickens, with one calling it “the mannequin challenge.”
One person commented: ‘Ummmm, this is the best evidence I’ve ever seen for an error in the matrix.’
“The people running the matrix freaked out trying to fix the glitch,” another TikToker commented.
Other users compared the video to ‘Simon Says’ and one person even suggested they played Squid Games.
“They were playing SQUID GAMES – they’re on a red light, all you have to do is say ‘green light’ and they’ll move,” one TikToker wrote.
Other users suggested that the reason why Antionette’s chickens froze was fear, specifically of hawks.
When chickens sense predators such as hawks, they will stop moving to protect their underbelly, the so-called submissive crouch.

Another ‘glitch in the matrix’ incident that occurred last April involved water flowing past a metal plate at a strange speed.
A video of this “glitch” was posted to Reddit by an unnamed user who, according to social media users, doesn’t follow physics.
“They need to fix this bug,” the user wrote in the caption.
Other Reddit users also called the water flow “a glitch” and referenced The Matrix and Harry Potter films.
In reality, the strange water flow was due to hydrophobicity – the property of a molecule being repelled from water.
‘Water is a polar substance and creates weak hydrogen bonds with other molecules of its own – this makes water “sticky”. That sticky quality combined with a hydrophobic surface (the metal) leads to what you see,” one Reddit user wrote.
In addition to metal, there are other surfaces that can cause water to flow chaotically: alkanes, oils, fats and greasy substances.
