A drunk driver without a license gets behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang for a birthday present. What could go wrong…?
A drunk driver who jumped behind the wheel of a mustard-colored Ford Mustang for a birthday present lost control of his car, causing it to crash in the middle of a Czech road.
CCTV footage from the scene on Pilnáčkova Street in the Czech town of Hradec Kralove showed the reckless driver driving through a red light into a busy intersection.
Unable to tame the 430bhp Mustang, the drunk driver slid off the tarmac, climbed the curb and crashed into a road sign before ripping off the sports car’s bumper.
For a moment it seemed that his fellow motorists would miraculously escape the massacre.
But the drunken pilot somehow managed to steer back onto the road, making a 360-degree turn before ramming into the back of an unsuspecting Renault Megane.
The police who arrived on the scene immediately performed a breath test and found that the embarrassed driver was indeed drunk behind the wheel.
Further investigation revealed that he was also driving without a driver’s license.

Police investigation revealed that the 50-year-old driver had received a ride in the Mustang as a birthday present, but only as a passenger.
After enjoying a glass of beer and a shot of rum during a birthday lunch, the man went to the experience center to view the car.
But instead of asking him to sit in the passenger seat, the car’s owners handed him the keys – apparently without checking his driver’s license.
A police statement from Hradec Kralove said: ‘The 50-year-old committed four offenses at the same time: running a red light, not adhering to the speed limit, driving without a license and driving drunk.
‘Whether someone else has committed an unlawful act is the subject of further investigation.
Police also revealed that the Megane was estimated to have suffered 50,000 Czech crowns (£1,688) worth of damage, while repairs to the Mustang were estimated to cost around £7,000.
The investigation continues.
