America’s Got Talent’s Howie Mandel reveals he found wife lying in a pool of blood with her SKULL exposed after shocking drunken injury

Howie Mandel revealed his wife Terry Soil suffered a devastating facial injury after a recent night of partying during his Monday appearance on Live With Kelly And Mark.

The 68-year-old comedian and America’s Got Talent judge told shocked hosts he found his wife in a pool of blood after she was woken by a loud noise in the middle of the night during a recent trip to Las Vegas.

Howie said the two had been “partying” but it was “too much” for his “tipsy” wife of more than 40 years, although he said he didn’t realize she had had too much to drink before he went to bed.

“In the middle of the night she got up and – I don’t know where she went – ​​but she walked into the wall,” he explained. “And she fell and hit the paneling. She hit it on her way down.

“She slipped, fell down, hit her eye, then fell to the ground and broke her cheek,” he said as Kelly Ripa grimaced as he described the injury.

“I heard ‘bang’ and ‘ahh’ and I woke up and said, ‘Where are you?’ Howie continued. And she said, ‘I don’t know. That’s what she said.’

The audience was then able to view the extent of Terry’s injuries in a close-up photo of the top half of her face, although fortunately this was after her cuts had been cleaned and the blood wiped from her face.

She had a large diagonal cut down the center of her face, surrounded by a purple bruise, and a fainter red cut running toward the top of her nose.

Terry had a swollen left eye with a discoloration covering her upper eyelid and running to the top of her cheek, with a blood-encrusted gash following the bottom of the bruise.

She also appeared to have a smaller cut or bruise lower on her cheek, just to the left of her upper lip.

She appeared to have the top of her head wrapped, and it was not clear if there was any damage beyond the part of her face shown.

Howie went on to explain how he discovered the shocking sight of his wife covered in her own blood.

‘I turn on the light, I look, I look around the bed. She’s lying in the corner, face down, and I didn’t know she was going to cut her head off. But the blood pools,” he explained.

Howie has been open in the past about his struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and germophobia, but these issues didn’t stop him from rushing to help his bleeding wife.

‘I freaked out. I picked her up and put her on the bed. There is blood[where]’ he recalled. “I went to grab all the towels, and all the towels are covered in blood. And she says, “Give me ice cream. Get me ice cream.”

“I don’t know where to get ice cream,” he added jokingly.

He opted for the best remedy to reduce the swelling: a cold drink from the minibar in the room.

But Terry was in so much pain that she took the can from him after he touched it directly on her forehead and hurled it across the hotel room.

Howie then tried to wrap two cans in a towel, but she again threw them aside due to her severe pain.

“When she did that, I saw her head, and you could even see her skull. It opened up,” he said as shocked shouts came from the crowd. “I was interrupted.”

Instead of calling 911 directly for emergency assistance, Howie called the front desk and asked the staff to call 911, but they insisted on investigating the situation upstairs before calling for medical help.

He joked that they might have thought he caused his wife’s injuries because the room was covered in blood and the cans were all over the room, which the staff documented with photos as he begged them to call 911.

After they reached the hospital, Howie recounted a humorous moment when his wife panicked and called for a doctor.

Fortunately, Terry has since made a full recovery.
