Bill Maher says only thing Dem and GOP voters have in common is that they both secretly want their 2024 candidate to die – and suggests Biden, 81, walks like toddler with a full diaper
- Bill Maher joked about the ages of Donald Trump, 78, and Joe Biden, 81
- He accused Democrats of ‘getting crazier and more annoying’
- Maher, 68, vowed to continue exposing the left’s weaknesses
Bill Maher has suggested that the only thing Democratic and Republican voters have in common is that “they both hope their candidates die” ahead of the 2024 election.
The left-wing comedian was an outspoken critic of both Joe Biden, 81, and Donald Trump, 78.
He previously faced criticism from within his own ranks for mocking the president’s unsteady gait.
But in an interview with the New York Times he doubled down on the comments, joking that the octogenarian should accept that he walks “like a toddler with a full diaper.”
The age of both candidates has become a flashpoint in the upcoming elections, with each side seeking to portray the other as unfit to govern.

A March poll found that 60 percent of Americans do not believe Trump or Biden have the mental capacity for the White House.
Biden aid workers are said to be so concerned about his “shuffle” after a series of trips and tumbles that they now have him wear sneakers, use shorter steps for Air Force One and be surrounded by protective personnel at all times.
Meanwhile, Trump suffered an embarrassing gaffe on Friday when he tripped on stage while delivering a speech at the Minnesota Republican Party’s annual Lincoln-Reagan dinner in St. Paul.
Maher joked that Biden should just accept his fate, saying, “I walk like a toddler with a full diaper, but I believe in democracy.”
The 68-year-old admitted he would still vote for “Biden’s head in a jar of blue liquid” over Trump.
However, he acknowledged a growing sense of alienation from “ridiculous” Democrats in recent years, explaining that this is why he is focusing more on them with his jokes.
“Because they’re crazier and more annoying than they used to be,” he recently said on his show. “They just got weirder.”
But he praised Biden’s determination to stay in the Oval Office, while still joking about his age.
“He’s crossed oceans of time to be where he is today, and he’s not going to give up now,” the Club Random podcast host said.

Donald Trump was also branded ‘weak’ by Biden supporters after suffering an embarrassing wobble during a rally in Minnesota on May 17
He explained that he will continue to criticize the president even if it causes anger among the left, because it is not his job to cover up any weaknesses.
Maher echoed fears that Trump will contest the outcome of the election as he did in 2020 if he does not win.
“It will be contested and it will be ugly,” Maher said. He previously correctly predicted Trump’s election fraud line.
Maher also targeted students participating in protests to end the war in Gaza, accusing them of being “American-hating hysterics without knowledge” who support Hamas.
“It’s hard to wrap your head around the thought of people on American soil shouting ‘Death to America,'” he said.
“If they had any knowledge about the Middle East or what apartheid really means or genocide, would they really be on Hamas’ side?”
