An irate Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone was caught yelling in referee Marc Davis’ face – on a night when his team fell 2-0 in their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In the first quarter, Minnesota guard Anthony Edwards drove into the lane and made contact with a Nuggets defender in the lane. Davis didn’t foul either team, much to the dismay of both sides.
But Malone was furious and walked onto the court, shouting at Davis and getting in his face as he berated the official for his decision.
Shockingly, Malone was not assessed a technical foul for his anger as he walked back to the bench in anger.
He would have a lot more to worry about later in the evening as his Nuggets ended up being blown out 106-80 by Minnesota.
