Melbourne driver wins praise for her heartwarming act after postie crashes into her car: ‘Give that lady a cape’

A woman has been praised for hugging a postman after he accidentally crashed his motorcycle into the side of her car.

The woman turned left onto a main road in Boronia Melbournein the east, on Thursday morning.

She had to slow down for a vehicle in front of her that was in a petrol station.

The postman behind her had looked the other way to see if there were oncoming traffic, but didn’t see her car stop in front of him.

He then plowed straight into the right side of the vehicle and went flying from the impact of his engine.
