A drive-by shooting has rocked Sydney’s west after a house was sprayed with bullets.
The terrifying shooting happened on Miles Street in Merrylands at around 10pm on Tuesday.
A Hyundai hatchback was found burnt out a short time later in Bass Hill, about 10 minutes away from the scene of the shooting.
A family was in the house at the time of the shooting, along with a father, who revealed that at least six bullets had been fired into the property.

Several children were asleep in the house when the terrifying incident broke out in the quiet street.
NSW Police were seen at the house at the center of the shooting and at the scene of the burnt-out car.
The shooting comes just days after an expectant father was shot in his car in Melbourne.
Aaron Toth, a 30-year-old carpenter from Cranbourne, was found with a fatal gunshot wound in a Volkswagen Golf on Bride Avenue in Hampton Park, Saturday at 12:30 PM.
Mr Toth, whose partner is pregnant, died at the scene of the shooting.
While Victoria Police have not said the suspected shooting is linked to organized crime, detectives believe the incident has all the hallmarks of a targeted execution.
Toth’s killers fled at 2.30am in a stolen Ford Ranger car, which was found burnt out at the Sweeny Reserve in Berwick, about 9km from the scene of the shooting.
