Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn shares cryptic post after the singer is forced to pay dad Jamie’s $2 MILLON legal bill in settlement

Jamie Lynn Spears seemed to enjoy a quiet “I told you so.”

The actress, 33, shared a cryptic message to her Instagram Stories late Friday after her older sister, Britney Spears, 42, shockingly settled her years-long legal battle with their father Jamie Spears, 71.

Still, the Sweet Magnolias actress takes the matter head on, sharing a meme of a seemingly unamused little boy with pursed lips, captioning it, “Watching what I predicted unfolded after everyone told me I was crazy.”

However, details of the settlement have not been disclosed TMZ has claimed that the pop star and her lawyer Mathew Rosengart agreed to cover Jamie’s $2 million in legal fees.

The settlement means the trial over Britney’s allegations that her father behaved inappropriately during the Baby One More Time singer’s 13-year conservatorship will not take place in June.

The Sweet Magnolias actress shared a meme of a smug little boy and wrote, “I watched what I predicted unfold after everyone told me I was crazy.”

In court testimony in June 2021, the pop singer claimed she was forced by her father and other conservators to go on tour against her will.

She also revealed that she was prescribed lithium which made her feel ‘drunk’ and that she was not allowed to get married or have a baby as she wanted, and was forced to use an IUD for contraception.

TMZ insiders have claimed that Britney would be furious about the settlement, even though she had to sign for it.

The Gimme More artist appeared to announce her resignation in a social media post after the deal was announced.

She posted a photo of a bottle of wine and a half-full glass and wrote: ‘Eventually you will come to understand that love heals everything and that’s all there is… and REAL wine feels extremely good too! Pss first time with real wine Jesus f-ing Christ!!!’

“It has been our honor and privilege to represent, protect and defend Britney Spears,” Rosengart said in a statement. CNN.

‘Mrs. Spears is and always will be an icon and a brilliant and courageous artist of historic and epic proportions,” the statement continued.

‘Although the conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, her wish for freedom has now truly been fulfilled. As she wished, her freedom now means that she no longer has to attend or be involved in court in this case.”

Jamie’s attorney, Alex Weingarten, released his own statement on behalf of his client.

‘Jamie is glad this is all over. Jamie loves his daughter dearly and has worked tirelessly to protect her, Weingarten said. He wants the best for Britney, nothing less.”

The Grammy winner and her father have been estranged since her thirteen-year conservatorship ended in November 2021.

TMZ reported that the singer was furious about the settlement, but she appeared to resign in a social media post uploaded after the deal was announced

She also accused him and his associates of “controlling my body and my money” for 13 years, making her “feel sick.”

The Toxic singer claimed her father got rich off her wealth.

She also accused her mother Lynne Spears and Jamie Lynn of taking advantage of the conservatorship, although she has somewhat repaired her relationship with them in subsequent years.
