Romantic moment a man uses plane PA system to propose to his girlfriend mid flight

This is the romantic moment a man proposed to his girlfriend on board a plane as fellow passengers cheered him on.

In a video shared with TikTokthe unidentified man can be seen talking into a PA system on board Nigerian airline Air Peace, asking his soon-to-be fiancée to ‘get out of her seat’ and say ‘yes’ to him.

The fairytale moment became even more special when he revealed his girlfriend’s name was ‘Precious’, which made her ‘so precious’ to him – and he hoped she would ‘marry’ him.

The sweet proposal – which was caught on camera by her friend – was met with loud cheers, with viewers saying they were ‘crying like a baby’.

With a look of elation, the unknown passenger began his sweet serenade, “She is so precious and her name is Precious.

“Please, my precious one, I want to ask: will you marry me?”

The man was forced to pause between his words as the crowd present could do nothing but scream and whistle in excitement.

He continued, “If you want, just come out and say ‘yes’ to me, my love.”

In almost movie-like fashion, he dropped the phone and slowly walked down the aisle of the plane to find his waiting love.

‘Oooohs’ and ‘awwwws’ could be heard from the seated passengers, while others took out their phones to capture the unique moment.

The cheers erupted into loud applause as the man paused halfway down the aisle, seemingly waiting for his fiancée to approach him.

Unfortunately, the clip ended before viewers had a chance to meet Precious, leaving people asking for a second video.

Her friend bowed to the pressure and shared an update afterwhere Precious can be seen hugging her now fiancé in the middle of the plane just moments after popping the question.

Precious kept her head bowed low and rested on his shoulders in an obvious attempt to hide the tears.

A passenger could be heard urging the pair to turn the passion up a notch and seal the moment with a kiss, shouting: ‘kiss him!’ Kiss him now!’

The lovebirds followed the advice and appeared to lean in for a long kiss and cuddle.

There were shouts of “yayyyy” from the crowd as the newly engaged couple walked to the front of the plane.

The popular video has since sparked a variety of reactions, including one woman calling the video “beautiful.”

‘I love this!’ said another, while many others posted messages of ‘congratulations’ to the couple.

However, not everyone was impressed with the proposal, leading some to bash the spectacle.

“Dear future husband, please don’t try this,” said another.

Meanwhile, a woman criticized the man for not ‘kneeling’ during the proposal.
