The Hills star Heidi Montag hits the recording studio with Brooke Candy as she plots music comeback: ‘We gave the gays what they want!’
Heidi Montag is ready to make a comeback to the music industry almost fifteen years after the release of her first album, Superficial.
On Thursday, the 37-year-old filmed herself in the recording studio with electro-pop artist Brooke Candy.
The Hills alum explained on Snapchat that she was in the studio recording something for Candy’s upcoming album.
After stepping out of the booth, a giddy Heidi exclaimed, “It’s a hit! Congratulations everyone, we did so well.’
Brooke then said, “You sound great. This is a hit. We gave the gays what they want.”

The Los Angeles-based singer later shared a photo of herself posing with Heidi to X and captioned it: “Studio day with the queen @heidimontag.”
Heidi announced her return to the music scene in January.
“I’m so excited to be back in the studio. Thank you to all my amazing fans who made Superficial such an international viral hit!’ she wrote at the time.
She added: “So excited for the next chapter of music.
The reality star’s pop comeback was boosted by the viral success of her song I’ll Do It, which was viewed two billion times on TikTok and China’s Douyin.
Heidi and husband Spencer Pratt spent nearly $2 million on Heidi’s debut album Superficial in 2010, after which it flopped on the charts.
“It was just a very difficult and harsh ending to a lot of things at the time. When Superficial didn’t hit the charts the way I thought it would… At that point it was just overshadowed by so many things,” she shared. Paper magazine December.

The reality star’s pop comeback was boosted by the viral success of her song I’ll Do It, which was viewed two billion times on TikTok and China’s Douyin.
“As the years go by, I’m like a man, the album was just so good. If it had been anyone else, it would have just been a number one hit,” she continued.
“We spent all our money, time and energy, and it was my biggest dream, so it’s actually even more rewarding to make it happen so many years later,” she continued.
To keep fans excited before her official return to music, Heidi has been releasing remixes of her classic Superficial tracks and pulling old, unreleased songs from the vault.
Her latest hit, Touch Me, recently reached the top 10 of the UK pop club charts thanks to a remix by Dave Aude.
