Jack Vidgen has revealed that he flew economics to Argentina to star in the new Ten series, The Challenge.

Jack made the surprising confession on his podcast Hey doll! on Thursday during an interview with co-host, Tom Whitaker.

“Did you fly first class or business class to Argentina?” Tom asked excitedly.

‘I was in the coach’ [economy],’ replied Jack.

A surprised Tom then asked if the celebrity cast had all flown economy and not first class.

“I swear on my life we ​​flew in economy,” Jack said.

Earlier this month, Ten revealed the full list of reality stars who will compete alongside athletes in The Challenge.

Konrad Bie-Stephen and Megan Marx have both been confirmed for the series after their steamy fling followed his secret breakup with Abbie Chatfield.

Brooke Blurton from the Bachelorette has also signed up, as have MAFS bride Cyrell Paule, David Subritzky from I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of here! and Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm.

They will compete for the $100,000 cash prize alongside Bachelor franchise alumni Ciarran Stott, Brittany Hockley, Jessica Brody and Kiki Morris.

Representing Survivor is Johnny Eastoe and Brooke Jowett, while Conor Curran represents MasterChef Australia.

Sydney actress Suzan Mutesi has also been cast, despite not having any connection to reality TV.

Viewers reacted quickly to the announcement on social media.

Contestants will compete “in a game of secrets, spies and lies” while away from friends and family during the series filmed in Buenos Aires.
