Elle Macpherson, 59, reveals the four things that help her stay youthful and the one treat she indulges in on her birthday
Elle Macpherson made a name for herself as ‘The Body’ during her modeling heyday in the 1980s and 1990s, but now it seems the ‘pressure’ of that title has waned.
The Australian supermodel, who turns 60 next month, said she has not found it difficult to maintain her iconic figure since focusing her life on ‘wellness’.
Speak with sunrise Hosts Natalie Barr and Matt Doran said Monday that the “secret” behind her youthful looks and incredible figure is “love, laughter, water and sunshine.”
Natalie, 55, asked the model how much “pressure” she has had to endure all these years to live up to the name “The Body.”
“Well, less pressure since I’ve been taking care of myself. It’s much harder if you don’t live a healthy lifestyle,” Elle said.

She added: “I think my views on health have evolved over time. It has become more natural. It’s part of my lifestyle.’
She went on to say that surrounding herself with “love, laughter, water and sunshine” makes it “much easier” to maintain her ageless look.
It was then substitute Matt, 41, who asked the blonde beauty if she would treat herself to something unhealthy for her birthday next month.

“What’s your vice?” he asked, to which Elle joked, “I have a lot, but I don’t think I’m going to talk about them.”
The WelleCo founder further admitted that she “loves a piece of birthday cake” made from “sponge and cream.”
Elle confessed in 2022 that she also relies on a plant-based diet, with all her groceries being locally grown and organic, hand-picked from the Saturday farmers market.

After making a record five cover appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue during her career, Elle recently said her thoughts on youth and beauty have evolved.
She looked as radiant and youthful as ever when she appeared on The Sunday Project this weekend and discussed her thoughts on growing older.
“I feel like we’ve really come to understand that youth and beauty, which we always thought were inextricably linked, we now understand that wellness and beauty go together,” she said.
Elle is currently in Australia for the first time in four years to celebrate the tenth anniversary of her health brand WelleCo and to show boyfriend Doyle Bramhall her hometown.
