Trump calls DeSantis a ‘terrific person’ and gives Florida Governor’s wife Casey a shoutout for her hard work as he takes aim at ‘RINO’ Nikki Haley and her ‘pro-China, pro-open borders’ supporters at roaring New Hampshire rally days before primary

Donald Trump came out roaring in New Hampshire on Sunday night as he congratulated former Republican hopeful Ron DeSantis after dropping out of the running.

The former president graciously thanked Florida’s governor for his support after he ceremonially withdrew from the Republican candidate’s race — while targeting his closest competitor, Nikki Haley, just days before the primaries.

He said the people supporting Haley are “pro-Amnesty, pro-China, pro-Open Borders, pro-war, pro-Deep State and they are pro-Biden.”

And he called her a RINO, short for Republican, in name only.

Trump, 77, called her out for previously arguing against his border policies, telling the cheering crowd in New Hampshire: “She will never secure the border.”

As he took the stage in Rochester tonight, Donald Trump told supporters, “I want to congratulate Ron on a great job.”

Trump praised the “great” Ron DeSantis for his efforts in his campaign – and also complimented the Florida governor’s wife Casey for her hard work.

The former president told New Hampshire: “He ran a great campaign, I’ll tell you that.

“He left the campaign trail today and he was very gracious and supportive, so I appreciate it.

“I look forward to working with Ron to defeat corrupt Joe Biden.”

Trump spoke jokingly about his current charges – as MAGA crowds cheered him on. He joked, “I’ve been indicted more times than Alphonse Capone.”

He also pledged to tackle the fentanyl crisis in the US, shut down DEI systems across the country and prevent men from playing in women’s sports.

Trump said, “We will never go back to the days of globalist RINOs promising border security.

“Nikki Haley, globalist, will never secure the border or stop the fentanyl that is killing thousands of New Hampshire citizens.

“The radical left Democrats support Nikki for a very simple reason: because they know she is easy to beat. She is not eligible.

“If you want a losing candidate who puts America last, vote for Nikki Haley.”

When Nikki Haley heard the news that DeSantis had dropped out of the presidential race, she said Sunday “may the best woman win.”

The news came as Haley addressed potential supporters at Brown’s Lobster Pound in Seabrook, New Hampshire, with state Governor Chris Sununu at her side.

Haley is campaigning in the Granite State after banning DailyMail.com reporters and photographers from all her events over reporting on alleged affairs.

The former U.N. ambassador drew cheers when she announced that DeSantis was quitting Sunday afternoon and endorsed former President Donald Trump in a video message on his way out.

“I want to tell Ron that he ran a great race, he’s been a good governor and we wish him the best,” Haley said. “That said, there’s now one guy and one lady left.”

In turn, DeSantis kicked Haley as he walked out the door.

He said Trump had his support “because we cannot go back to the old Republican guard of yesteryear, a repackaged form of overheated corporatism that Nikki Haley represents.”

Haley told CNN’s Dana Bash that DeSantis did not warn her he was leaving the race.

‘No, he didn’t call or inform me. And look, this is what guys do,” she said, adding that she “doesn’t take politics personally.”

DeSantis’ departure turns the Republican primaries into a battle between frontrunner Trump and underdog Haley.
