Queensland woman claims post office worker gave her passport photos a ‘Facetune’ makeover
A Queensland woman claims a cashier gave her passport photos a 'facetune' makeover, making her look almost unrecognizable.
Jeannette Kandava visited Korea Post in Sunnybank, Brisbane, to have her passport photos taken and was shocked by the results.
She claimed her photos were edited using Facetune, an app used by influencers and content creators to edit, enhance and retouch images.
“I can't make this up,” Ms. Kandava said in a video posted on social media on Monday.
“I just went to get my passport photos taken and this guy, I swear, he edited my photos.
“I went to Korea Post which I didn't know was a thing until I looked it up and guys. He edited my passport photos. This is Facetune.
He even face-tuned my face. I can not believe this. This is way too funny.'
Jerry Hyun, owner of Korea Post, told Ny Breaking Australia that passport photos only receive “a little bit of retouching” at the store.

He said between 10 and 15 people visited his store every day to have photos taken.
Passport photos at Korea Post cost $10, are ready in 10-15 minutes and are compliant according to the Australian government website.
Dozens of Aussies, mostly women, begged Ms Kandava to share the details so they could have their passport photos taken at Korea Post.
“Madam girl, I have to go there. He gets it,” one woman said.
“Do they have one in Gold Coast? Australia Post did me super dirty,” a second person wrote, to which Ms Kandava replied: “Worth the drive to Sunnybank!”
“He understood the brief,” a third joked.
'What! “I felt like I suddenly lost my passport… damn, now I have to go there and get my photos,” a fourth commented.
