‘Train Karen’ Brianna Pinnix claims ex-boss ‘gaslit’ her and used her $300 Nordstrom gift card months before ‘racist’ NYC train meltdown at German tourists
The woman known as “Train Karen” who spewed xenophobic epithets at a group of German tourists on a New York train claimed months earlier that she was “gaslit” by a former boss after he used her gift card.
Brianna Pinnix, 30, was filmed on board a train last week telling a group of German tourists to ‘get the hell out of my country’. After MailOnline.com published reports about the video and Pinnix’s identity, her company fired her.
Late last year, Pinnix targeted her old employer in videos posted to her now-deleted TikTok account. In one, she accused her former boss of spending all but $8 on a $300 Nordstrom gift card that she said she won in a Christmas lottery.
“I’ve been thinking about making this video for two months, and I’m going to do it. I was abandoned by my former boss. I’m not going to use any names, if anyone at my old company sees this, sorry. If anyone at my new company sees this, I’m sorry, but it needs to be said,” Pinnix said in the video obtained by MailOnline.com.
The New Jersey resident said she confronted her boss about the video, which led to a lengthy dispute between the two.

“So I called customer service and they said, ‘Yes, this card was used to buy two pairs of men’s shoes and a pair of men’s pants,’” Pinnix said.
There was a time when she was “friends” with her boss and had gone shopping with him and remembered his shoe size of nine and a half.
A Nordstrom manager was able to tell her that her old boss had indeed used the money on the card.
When Pinnix contacted him about the gift card, he insisted it was a gift from the company when she left and bluntly told her to “use the card.”
“Right now I’m getting pretty excited,” Pinnix said.
She then said she would continue the story in another post, but videos related to this matter have since been removed from her page.
In a recent viral video, Pinnix became increasingly aggressive before shouting, “Let’s not let immigrants take over our country… how about we get the fuck out of our country.”
“Stop this now, sit down, or I will never talk to you again,” the woman’s friend threatens

Last week, Pinnix was caught on video yelling at a group of German tourists on a New Jersey Transit train earlier this week.
During the confrontation, Pinnix becomes increasingly aggressive towards the group of young travelers before shouting, “Let’s not let immigrants take over our country… how about you get the hell out of our country.”
The Manhattan recruiter, wearing jeans and a light green strappy top, who social media users have dubbed a “Karen,” is calmed down by her concerned husband.
“Brie, don’t do this. You could be arrested,” he pleads as he takes her arm and tries to convince his partner that the group of men were “having a private conversation” and not trying to start a conflict.
“I love you, but get off me,” the increasingly upset woman tells her husband as she continues to berate the tourists.
“Stop it now, sit down, or I’ll never talk to you again,” he threatens.
It is unclear what led to the confrontation and what comments were made to the blonde woman.
After the woman returns to her seat, her companion tells her, “I’m an immigrant too, you know that well.”
As she cursed at the tourists on the train, she said, “Are you German?” she asks, before aggressively adding, “What did you say, tell me what you said.”
The tourists seemed to take the incident in good humor, with only one getting out of his seat and appearing visibly irritated before calmly sitting back down moments later.
