Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu signs up for star-studded US reality show – and has already started filming in a remote Scottish castle

She became a household name in the UK after winning the eighth series of Love Island, but Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is hoping to win a new legion of fans after signing up for a hit US reality show.

The TV personality has joined a star-studded line-up for the second series of The Traitors US and has already started filming.

Other participants include Real Housewives Of Miami star Larsa Pippin, former heavyweight champion boxer Deontay Wilder, Bling Empire’s Kevin Kreider, Dancing With The Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Real Housewives Of Orange County regular Tamra Judge.

In a bizarre twist, former House Of Commons speaker John Bercow also makes an unexpected appearance on the widely publicized show.

The upcoming series will be presented by actor Alan Cumming and will be filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands – a far cry from the Spanish Love Island villa.

As with the British version of the popular show, contestants will have to lie to win a potential cash prize. Survivor star Cirie Fields walked away with a whopping $250,000 after winning the first series.

Following on from the UK version of the show – a huge success when it aired in 2022 – the celebrities will be split into two groups, Traitors and Faithful’s.

Larsa Pippen and partner Marcus Jordan’s participation in the show was confirmed by People on Thursday.

The high-profile couple documented their travels on Instagram Stories as they arrived in Scotland on Wednesday, where production on the series has begun.

The reality show’s premise pits competitors against each other in tricky tasks, with some secretly trying to sabotage the others.

The concept originated from the Dutch show De Verraders; it has also been adapted for Australia and the UK, with both versions airing on Peacock.

The first American season, which received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program, featured 10 reality stars and 10 regulars in the cast.

The second frame of the series will only feature big-name reality stars in the cast, according to the outlet, as filming will continue for a few more weeks.

Ekin-Su’s participation comes after she refused to confirm claims of a romantic reconciliation with ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti.

She said The sun: ‘Leave it to the imagination. You can label it whatever you want, but we enjoy each other’s company and are very happy.”

Davide added, “We just enjoy each other’s company.”
