According to The sunEmily discovers how her ancestor Edward Robbins became famous for his involvement in football in Wales.
Known as Ted, Edward was the longest-serving secretary of the Football Association of Wales. He clashed with the English Football League over their reluctance to release their players for international duties.
His campaigns eventually saw the rule dropped, meaning Welsh-born players, who played for English clubs, could still represent their country.
