Russian soldiers have committed almost 90,000 war crimes in Ukraine with thousands of innocent people murdered, raped and tortured.
Horror victims have criticized Putin’s thugs as ‘monsters’ and ‘animals’ after they invaded a year ago.
The Ukrainian government has recorded the atrocities that have taken place since the invasion on February 24 last year.
The southern city of Kherson suffered 8,000 crimes while it was occupied for eight months before Ukrainian soldiers retook it in November.
Torture chambers have been found, including one called “The Hole”, where prisoners were electrocuted and beaten.

Kiosk worker Svitlana Melnyk, 42, lives near him in the battle-scarred Antonyms area of the city.
She told MailOnline: ‘I heard screaming men and women in ski masks dragging bodies.
This place was hell on earth.

“They joked that they were making calls to Zelensky or Biden when they did because it was connected to an old phone.

“They put weights on my neck and a knife in my back and forced me to bend over.
‘I thought I was going to die.’
The Russians are entrenched less than a mile from the port city of Kherson, on the left bank of the Dnieper River.
The snipers hide by the river and the Russians fire on the city with tanks.
The frontline city is being bombed every few hours and it is like a ghost town with most of the population fleeing.
Packs of stray dogs roam the city in search of food.
Landscape gardener Nadia Knyaz, 30, winces as artillery shells fall 500 feet away as she drinks coffee at a cafe while speaking to MailOnline.
Nadia said: ‘That was close. It can be very scary here.
‘The Russians arrested my husband when they were here because he used to be in the army.

‘They blindfolded him, beat him and threatened to shoot him if he didn’t tell them where the soldiers were.

Minutes later, a rocket attack on a bus stop killed five people and injured 12.

The scale of the war crimes has been documented by the Ukrainian government which is investigating rape, murder, torture and bombing of schools, kindergartens, homes and hospitals.
However, officials believe there are more than 90,000 war crimes committed by Putin’s men.

All but one of Karina’s fingernails had been ripped out.
Her mother, Olena Derenko, 42, said: “They were animals to her as she fought for her life.”
‘I hate all Russians, I put a curse on them.
They have caused so much pain. My heart aches for Karina.
“I cry every day.”
More than 450 bodies were discovered in the city after they were killed by the Russians and 25 women were raped in a basement.
Back in Kherson, people are mourning the dead from the constant attacks.
A Christmas Eve attack on a shopping area killed 11 and injured dozens.

Family friend Valerie Luhova, 34, said: “Her two daughters are devastated.
‘She was an angel. She cared for animals and children with special needs.
She wouldn’t hurt anyone.
