AFL: Essendon midfielder Darcy Parish marries Grace Stanton in Geelong

Essendon midfielder Darcy Parish married his partner of many years, Grace Stanton, in a romantic ceremony in Geelong, Victoria, on Saturday.

The 25-year-old AFL star and his beautiful bride exchanged vows at the Mt Duneed Estate in Waurn Ponds, surrounded by family and friends.

in a series of Photos Shared on Instagram, Grace looked stunning in a silk wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and slit along the side.

She completed her look with white lace stilettos and left her long brunette hair out.

Darcy looked dapper in a black tuxedo, white shirt, bow tie, and dress shoes.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds partied all night with their 197 guests.

Grace told the herald sun before the big day: “We’ve been together for eight years and we couldn’t be more ready to embark on this next chapter.”

“We see it as one big party with all our favorite people,” he added.

“I feel the anticipation of walking down the aisle, but I know that I am next to my dad and as soon as I see Darcy, I will be ecstatic.

‘We are saying our own personal vows to each other, which I look forward to. Hearing what Darcy has to say will certainly excite me.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds partied all night with their 197 guests.

The couple got engaged in September while on vacation in Fiji.

‘I can’t wait to be your lady! Easily the best day of my life. Here is forever with you by my side! I love you more,’ Grace wrote on Instagram at the time.

Darcy wrote: ‘Forever with you, couldn’t be happier! Love you!’

The tables at her reception had white roses and candles in the center.
