Television pundit Ana Navarro has signed a multi-year deal to co-host hit daytime talk show The View, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Navarro, 50, has been a guest co-host on the show since 2018 after joining the show as a contributor in July 2013.
She is set to be named as a full-time co-host by the hit TV show imminently, alongside former Trump White House comms director Alyssa Farah Griffin, 33.
ABC has rotated the co-host seat vacated by DailyMail.com columnist Meghan McCain since her departure on August 6, 2021.
Navarro will continue to rotate as a host alongside current co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin – but isn’t expected to be on the show every day.
Sources say that she will appear a few days a week on the show, flying in from Miami to New York.
It comes after DailyMail.com exclusively revealed last week that Farah Griffin was the latest addition to the ABC talk show.

Three insiders with knowledge of the discussions with Griffin said that their ‘jaw dropped’ after discovering that she would be the pick alongside Navarro.
Multiple production sources exclusively told DailyMail.com: ‘We’ve signed Ana Navarro to a multi-year deal to remain with the show, and she’ll be officially named a co-host today.
‘She joined the show in 2013 and has been a guest co-host since 2018.
‘We’ve allowed her to continue as a CNN analyst and live in Miami, so she won’t be on The View every day, but she will be a fixture on the show as a co-host for years to come.
‘Ana has proven to be very popular with the other ladies and the audience.
‘It’s great to finally make her an official co-host after so many years of contributing her unique opinion to The View.’
However insiders also revealed that Navarro felt ‘especially’ let down by Griffin’s appointment, adding: ‘Her soon to be co-hosts are very upset.
‘They feel she isn’t authentic and changes her opinions based on who her paymaster is.
‘Ana Navarro especially feels let down as they are hiring someone who was an essential part of the movement that destabilized this country.
‘Alyssa’s family is also problematic. Her father Joseph founded WorldNetDaily a website that promotes conspiracy theories. It’s terrifying.’

Others claimed that Griffin’s appointment had already cost the show bookings, while another added ‘it makes no sense’.
Navarro tied the knot with Republican lobbyist Al Cardenas in 2019, inviting several high profile celebrities including Gloria Estefan and Eva Longoria to the wedding in Miami.
She wore a Luis Escudero for Rene Ruiz Collection gown to wed her beau, who is 24 years her senior, previously announcing their engagement on Instagram – flaunting a huge ring.
Navarro claims that she wanted her elderly father and mother to be able to see her get married, which required her to travel from Nicaragua.
She is the daughter of Augusto Navarro, a wealthy Nicaraguan landowner who fought with the Contras against the left-wing Sandinista government in the late 1970s and 1980s.
The Contra rebels who were supported by the Reagan administration have long been accused of atrocities against Nicaraguans, including murder, rape, and torture.
After fleeing the turmoil in her country and emigrating to the United States in 1980, Ana Navarro has long stated that the Reagan administration’s support for the Contras was what led her to becoming a lifelong supporter of the Republican Party.

Before her career as a television pundit, Ana Navarro was a prominent activist in Republican politics having worked for former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, the late Senator John McCain, and former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman Jr.
Ana Navarro has been a frequent media commentator, particularly since emerging as a ‘Never Trump’ Republican during the Donald Trump presidency from 2016 until 2020.
Los Angeles-born Griffin is a political advisor, and served as White House Director of Strategic Communications and Assistant to the President in the Trump administration in 2020.
The conservative resigned in December 2020, a month before he vacated office.
On January 8, 2021, she blamed Trump for inciting the insurrection and suggested that he should resign as the House moved to impeach the outgoing president for the second time of his administration.
She was also press secretary for Vice President Mike Pence from 2017 to 2019 – before being appointed as the youngest Pentagon Press Secretary in history.
In 2021, she married long-time partner Justin Griffin – and she revealed this year that members of her family, including her own father, boycotted her wedding because of their political differences.
