The seven-year wait for a visa may have all been for naught thanks to a mistake made by Michael Ilesanmi on his application, leading Angela Deem to call him an “idiot.”
Sunday’s episode of the spinoff 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? spoke to Angela, who learned that Michael had included lyrics about his infidelity in his visa application.
‘You’re breaking me down. You did something stupid. You are angry with yourself because you made a mistake. That’s going to get us into trouble. It turns out not [that] We get along great,” Angela said, calling him an “idiot.”
Angela revealed in a confessional that she was “just checking Michael’s paperwork for the interview” when she found the screenshots.
“So when I opened the portfolio, I saw a text message of me and Michael [are] fighting and I’m talking about the cheating and I’m looking at this,” she said.

“Who would put that in there? I do not understand. Why would you put those texts there? They don’t want to see us fighting,” she added.
Michael explained to a producer: ‘We need to document our communications to prove that we are husband and wife. And that’s why it was recorded.’
‘Because a real couple would probably argue about cheating, and the embassy wouldn’t care. They just want to see that we really are [a] married couple,” he said.
While Michael asked her to come with him to the interview, Angela decided against it, adding that she regretted her response to the findings in the text.
“As mean as I can be, I have a big heart and I’m just sad I didn’t go with him. I should have just gone,” she admitted.
‘I should have cooled down, but he didn’t have time. I would have gone in 10 minutes. Even angry – I would have gone,” she admitted.
Angela added: “But if he doesn’t understand now, I’ll forever think it’s my fault,” before admitting she was also an “idiot.”
‘I know he’s nervous. I do. I understand. I’m just as nervous – because it’s not – Michael keeps thinking this is just his visa. No, it’s our visa. I can’t do this alone,” she said.

The episode also revealed that Big Ed and Liz’s relationship was over, although he was choked up in an emotional farewell to Liz’s daughter Ryleigh.
‘I just want to apologize. I’m not sure when I’ll see you again,” Ed said, getting choked up, as Ryleigh said, “I accept your apology.”
‘No matter what happens between your mother and me, I will always love you. You know it right? You will always be No. 1 in card games,” he added.
“I love you,” Ryleigh said, and Ed added, “I love you too. I just wanted to say hello.”
