The Everything Everywhere All At Once star, 60, joked at the start of his speech by saying: ‘I promise, no cussing tonight!’ after she let out a few swear words like “fuck” during her SAG acceptance speech earlier last month.
The beauty, who has become the first Malaysian actress to be nominated for an Oscar, was also speechless as she expressed her appreciation for receiving the Spirit Award for her role as Evelyn in the critically acclaimed sci-fi film.
Yeoh donned a bodycon blue velvet dress that contained large ruffled embellishments and sparkly details as she took the stage near the Santa Monica Pier.

During an interview with People which was posted earlier on Wednesday, Michelle opened up about the milestones she has made in her life and especially her career.
“Many actresses find that as the numbers go up, the roles start to dwindle,” the Memoirs Of A Geisha star explained to the outlet.
‘In recent years, I am very proud that we have been breaking with stereotypes, it is not just a verbiage. It’s happening. And it’s happening to me.
