Zoey Deutch travels through Antarctica with Nina Dobrev and shares beautiful images on Instagram

While many people called 2023 at a party, or in the comfort of their own home under their covers, zoey deutch and her best friend Nina Dobrev were soaking up the best Mother Nature has to offer in Antarctica.

And on Thursday, everyone wants a little!! The 28-year-old star took to her Instagram page to share a series of photos from her monumental journey that included her boyfriend Jimmy Tatro, 30, as well as Dobrev’s partner, 34, Shaun White, of 36.

The group, which toured the continent spotting some of the wildlife, seemed unfazed by the cold temperatures, which can drop to a brutal minus 70 degrees Fahrenheit during winter.

During their adventure across the ice-covered continent, the two actresses took a helicopter ride, where they landed on a helipad, amidst all the chunks of ice and glaciers in the water.

In one photo, Dobrev gave a thumbs up next to Deutch, who flashed a calm and confident look.

They were both bundled up in heavy jackets, layers of clothing, and hats, their long locks falling to their shoulders.

Deutch would yell at her friend by writing “Nina,” along with a white heart emoji at the bottom of the photo.

The Los Angeles native proceeded to share a series of National Geographic-worthy looking images that captioned many of the memorable moments they shared together.

One photo showed Deutch giving his own thumbs up as he walked through knee-deep snow, while confessing to being “just in my scouting era.”

There’s another three-shot image that shows her embracing the man of her life, Jimmy Tatro, while standing in front of icy water and glaciers; showing a big beaming smile towards each other; and sharing a passionate kiss.

Worldwide, glaciers cover about 10% of the Earth’s land surface; Antarctica accounts for about 85% of this total coverage, according to discovering Antarctica.

It turns out that Antarctica contains 90% of the world’s glacier ice, which is enough ice to raise global sea level by almost 60 meters if it were to melt.

Deutch simply couldn’t get enough of the wildlife, which included posing in front of a large number of penguins congregating on the rocks.

“It was love at the sight of frost,” she joked, referring to the penguins who seemed to be interested in her presence, especially one in particular that was about 10 feet behind her.

Along with the penguins, there were also a series of images of seals and sea lions playing in the water and on the rocks of the coast.

While some of the animals were seen just as they were about to jump into the water, there were others apparently looking for food, and one or two taking a nap right next to the water.

There was no shortage of beautiful photos of the incredible forms of ice in the water and on land, in which the actress took the opportunity to lie on the ground and pose for a series of snapshots.

The two ladies celebrated 2023 together during their trip, toasting with a couple of cocktails.

On New Year’s Day, the Canadian actress shared a series of three photos of herself striking some poses on a boat, sailing through the icy waters, dressed in a form-fitting black ensemble.

‘New Year. new continent. Antarctica 2023,’ she wrote in the caption.

Deutch ended up sharing a picture of the two ladies snuggling together during their trip to Antarctica as he wished Dobrev a “Happy Birthday” on his 34th birthday on Monday, January 9.

A few days after her special day passed, Dobrev took to her Instagram and posted a photo of her taking a big bite of her birthday cake.

‘Sorry, I’ve been MINE. Pretty bad stomach ache after eating all this birthday cake,” she shared in the post that came three days after her actual birthday.
