Zoe Ball has reportedly split from her long-term partner Michael Reed with friends saying she’s “better off without him.”
The radio host, 52, had been in a relationship with the former construction worker for five and a half years, sources said The sun the relationship began to falter after 53-year-old Michael became “a bit demanding.”
The publication reported that Michael has since been asked by the TV star to move out of her £1.5million sprawling home in Sussex.
The source said, “Zoe is upset, but she’s better off without Michael.”
“This is a relief to many of her friends, who think she did the right thing,” they added.

They went on to say that the pair started arguing about “really silly things,” like Zoe spending time on the phone chatting with friends.
And while Michael was a “proper gentleman” when they first started dating, he’s said to have gotten “a little demanding” since then.
Going on to say that the couple also started to drift apart when Zoe went on holiday with her family Cyprus without him last month.
With the source saying, “Now it looks like the relationship has finally run its course. She asked him to move and he did, although they remained on good terms.’

Zoe was previously married to DJ Norman ‘Fatboy Slim’ Cook, 59, from 1999 to 2016 and have two children together, a son Woody, 22, and daughter Nelly, 13.
After the split, she began dating cameraman and technician Billy Yates, who tragically committed suicide in May 2017 after a long battle with depression.
Thursday was the anniversary of his death, and Zoe wrote on Instagram, “Six years of Billy Wonder – sorely missed by all who love you.”

During her holiday away from ex Michael, Zoe looked sensational as she spent quality time with her family in the sun.
She was joined on the trip by her siblings and TV legend dad Johnny, 84, who playfully posed a storm for the camera.
Zoe donned a strapless black and white swimsuit and donned sunglasses as she topped up her tan next to the pool.
Meanwhile, Johnny, who was married to Zoë’s mother Julia until 1972, entertained his grandchildren playing dominoes before the family took a paddle boat ride.
The former Play School presenter looked happier than ever in the sun with fans rushing to comment on his good health.
