Zendaya’s Hairstylist Law Roach, 44, Announces His Shocking RETIREMENT
Celebrity stylist Law Roach shocked the fashion world on Tuesday when he announced his retirement, saying “politics, lies and false narratives finally got me.”
The 44-year-old fashion star, who is the man behind Zendaya’s incredible red carpet looks, dropped the bombshell on instagramwhere he posted an image of a red sign reading ‘RETIRED’ written in big white letters.
The news comes just days after he dressed several stars for the Vanity Fair Oscar party, including Kerry Washington, Megan Thee Stallion, Hunter Schafer, Hailee Steinfeld and Eve Jobs.
‘My Cup is empty… thank you to everyone who has supported me and my career over the years. Every single person that trusted me with the picture of him, I’m so thankful for all of you,’ he wrote in the caption.

The 44-year-old fashion star dropped the bombshell on Instagram, saying she has had enough of “the politics, lies and false narratives” in the fashion world.
‘If this business was just for clothes, I would do it for the rest of my life, but unfortunately it’s not!’ she added. ‘Politics, lies and false narratives finally got me! You win… I’m out.
Roach’s unexpected post had some fans checking the calendar to see if it was an April Fool’s joke. Others refused to accept his departure from the fashion world and pleaded with him to continue as a stylist.
‘Law I will not leave you!!!! We don’t give up… we try our hardest,’ supermodel Naomi Campbell responded to her post.
“Absolutely not,” commented designer Christian Siriano, while stylist Karla Welch simply wrote: “No.”
‘Don’t do it LAW. We need you!’ hairstylist Brad Gorseki agreed.

Dozens of celebrities and fashion insiders took to the comments to beg him to reconsider.
‘Am I not here thinking it’s April 1?’ added British model Iskra Lawrence, who included three broken heart emojis.
Meanwhile, magazine editor Edward Kobina told Roach: “You’ll always have a home @britishvogue.”
Roach has yet to comment on his post-retirement plans, prompting speculation that he may have something big in the works.
There have been rumors that he You’ve been hired as a creative director for a brand or are about to launch something of your own, W Magazine informed.
Roach is best known for creating unforgettable looks for Zendaya, whom he memorably dressed as Cinderella for the 2019 Met Gala while assuming the role of her fairy godmother on the red carpet.
He was also the genius behind Celine Dion’s style revival in 2016. After working with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, he’s become a star in his own right.

Over the years, he has served as a judge on the fashion competition shows America’s Next Top Model and Legendary, and has been honored with the inaugural hairstylist award at the 2022 CFDA Awards last fall.
Roach suffered a personal tragedy in 2021 after his three-year-old nephew, Lamar Roach Jr., fell to his death from a 17th-floor apartment building in Chicago.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, he thanked his followers for their “prayers and well wishes” and said: “This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with.”
The news of her retirement has taken fashion insiders by surprise, considering how widely her work has been celebrated this awards season.
Roach worked with Zendaya numerous times over the past few weeks, landing multiple looks for her to wear to the NAACP Image Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards, which took place in late February.
