Zendaya has given fans a unique insight into her relationship with boyfriend Tom Holland.
The American actress, 26, has admitted she still struggles to understand the actor’s British accent, despite being linked for seven years.
She claims she often struggles to understand what Tom, 26, is saying and is baffled by cockney rhymes, despite Tom repeatedly trying to explain it to her.
She said The sun: ‘I love the British accent, but no matter how much Tom tries to explain it to me, I’ll never understand rhyming slang.
“As if I understand the concept – but what do apples and oranges have to do with stairs?”

“It’s cute when he tells me all the different sentences – but I really don’t get it!”
The couple were first linked in 2016 when they were both cast in Marvel reboot Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Tom’s £2.5 million west London home is currently undergoing extensive renovations after buying the massive property in 2018.
The couple also reportedly bought a £3million six-bedroom house together in Richmond.
He is reportedly planning to move into the property with his long-term girlfriend Zendaya.
According to the Mirrorthe couple has big renovation plans for their new home, including a movie theater, gym and a mancave for Tom.
Funded from the estimated £15 million Tom has earned from his six Marvel films, the purchases and renovations have sparked speculation that Zendaya will move to the UK, as Zendaya already owns a £3 million home in Los Angeles.
Money will not have been an issue for the couple, with reportedly £13 million and Zendaya £11 million.

And it seems Zendaya is excited about the prospect of living with Tom, who she says is great in the kitchen.
She said, “We learned early on that only one of us can be in the kitchen at a time. We’re both control freaks, so we can’t be in there together.”
The couple finally confirmed they were an item when they were passionately kissed in his car during a July 2021 Los Angeles getaway.
While the pair have been the subject of dating rumors ever since they wrapped Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 — their first movie together — they repeatedly denied they were an item.
But that same July a People insider said that the co-stars of the franchise had gotten into a romantic relationship with each other but tried to keep the matter a secret.
“They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man. They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they’ve gone on vacation with each other and are trying to spend as much time together as possible,” the source claimed.
Zendaya denied as much on Twitter jokingly, “My favorite is when it says we are going on vacation together HA! I haven’t been on vacation in years! hbu @tomholland1996???’
“He’s literally one of my best friends,” Zendaya said of Tom during an interview with Variety later in 2017 after the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
‘We have had to go on press trips together in recent months. Very few people will understand what that is like at age 20,” she noted.

Indeed, both Zendaya and Tom have reportedly been dating other people in the years between when the rumors started and when they caught a glimpse this week while tight-lipped.
Tom was linked to a woman named Olivia Bolton in 2019, but then The sun reported in April 2020 that they had canceled their relationship after nine months.
There were also reports that Zendaya and her Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi became a couple in 2019, but lately he’s been running around with Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber.
After starring together in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the duo also starred in the sequel Far From Home and the next installment, subtitled No Way Home, will air in December.
