Zendaya is in the middle of a steamy love triangle in her upcoming movie Challengers.
The trailer for the sports drama was released on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old actress who spends time with boyfriend Tom Holland, 27, in London, stars as rising tennis star Tashi Duncan, who catches the eye of fellow players and best friends, Patrick and Art, played by Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist.
However, the competitive duo at first seem more interested in Tashi for what she will become than who she is.
“She’s going to turn her whole family into millionaires,” Patrick tells Art, “she’s going to have a fashion line, a foundation.”

The friends later invite the rising star to hang out with them, which is when the sparks begin to fly.
“How often does this happen, going after the same girl?” asks Tashi.
“Not as often as you might think,” Patrick replies.
‘We usually have different types,’ adds Art.
“So you’re saying I should be flattered,” Tashi interjects.
“Aren’t you everyone’s type?” Art asks before the three get on the bed together.
Fast forward and we learn that the love triangle is over and that Tashi and Art have teamed up and tied the knot.
After a terrible knee injury, Tashi is sidelined and uses her considerable skills to coach her husband.

It soon turns out that the marriage is more business than pleasure for at least one member of the power couple.
While Art is in the middle of a losing streak, she persuades him to enter the Challengers tournament, where he will compete on the field against his former bestie, and old rivalries and feelings resurface.
Zendaya worked with tennis pro and former player Brad Gilbert to prepare for the role.

“She’s amazing,” said director Luca Guadagnino Variety last October. “I mean, wow.”
“We edited the film and we hardly use any of her doubles. She’s so good,” she adds, “all three protagonists worked really hard for about three months — technically, athletically.”
Zendaya shared the trailer on Instagram on Tuesday, and one line that seemed to resonate with many of her fans was, “I take such good care of my little white boys.”

Fans will have to wait a while to see the final product. Challengers will be in cinemas from September 15.
