Zendaya broke her silence one day after the sudden and tragic passing of her Euphoria co-star Angus Cloud.

The actress shared a poignant message about her late co-star, along with a black and white photo of him.

Angus died at age 25 on Monday, July 31, at his family home in Oakland, California — after struggling with the loss of his father, his family said. TMZ.

His mother, who called 911, reported it as a “possible overdose,” according to TMZ.

“I know people often use this phrase when they talk about people they love…”they can light up any room they entered,” but boy, let me tell you. He was the best at it. That’s how I’d like to remember him. For all the boundless light, love and joy he always knew how to give us. I will cherish every moment,” she added.

Born Conor Angus Cloud (named after his father Conor Cloud), Angus played the character Fezco in Euphoria from 2019 to 2022.

Angus’ family announced his death via TMZ, revealing that he died Monday at his family’s home in Oakland.

He battled “serious suicidal thoughts” after burying his father in Ireland the week before.

The actor was staying with his family as he tried to work through his grief, according to the outlet.

His mother called 911 around 11:30 a.m. Monday morning and reported a “possible overdose,” to which the Oakland Police Department and Fire Department responded.

She had reported that he had no pulse, with the actor pronounced dead at the scene when paramedics arrived.

Angus’ family confirmed his death in a statement Monday afternoon.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human being today. As an artist, friend, brother and so on, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways,” his family told the outlet.

Conor Hickey passed away on May 18 at the age of 65 after a “brief battle with cancer,” a social media post re-shared by his mother Lisa.

Lisa shared photos from his memorial service in another post, writing: “He would have been so honored to have so many young people come out to express how much they appreciated their support of him.

Conor died in his native Ireland. An obituary written by members of a rugby club he was associated with said he died ‘after a short illness’.

Lisa and Conor were both college professors. They are originally from Ireland, but moved to California in the 1980s.

The couple shared three children, their eldest Angus, followed by twin daughters Molly and Fiona Hickey.

Angus had just paid tribute to his late father on Instagram in one of his latest social media posts

One of his last Instagram posts came on July 14, in which he shared a touching photo of his smiling dad in a red hoodie and red sweater, with the caption “miss u breh.”
