Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom amiibo rewards and unlocks list

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has amiibo support, including previous Zelda amiibo figures and a new version of Link specific to the game.

Like with Breath of the Wildyou can scan amiibo from your skill wheel to get bonus items, some of which are themed like last Legend of Zelda games. (If amiibo scanning is disabled for you, you can enable the scanning functionality in the Options menu.)

How do amiibo rewards work in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Amiibo rewards range from paraglider fabric to armor, weapons or materials, depending on the figure in question.

For example, scanning the Majora’s mask Link amiibo gives you the chance to get themed content for your paraglider or the Fierce Deity set. Aside from that, amiibo often also have a theme running through their respective characters – like most Link amiibo dropping some sort of generic sword, or Zelda amiibo bestowing minerals, herbs, and flowers.

Note that each respective reward is not guaranteed every time you scan, meaning you’ll need to keep tapping amiibo multiple times to unlock all related items.

With a scan limit of once per day per individual amiibo, it may take a while to unlock everything within that grade’s reward pool. The good news, though, is that pretty much anything an amiibo can unlock can be found in-game too – so think of this as an extra shortcut to get various themed items, albeit with a bit of luck. (The exception seems to be paraglider fabrics, which we have yet to buy ourselves on our travels.)
