Zelda players discover an intricate TOTK glitch that ends with an unbreakable Master Sword

Video games are meant to be broken — at least according to a certain subset of gamers. And with a game as big as The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom TearsThere is a lot to break. Most of the time, players abuse glitches to help with speed runs or to modify something in the game – for example, adding the ability to duplicate important items. You could say that Tears of the KingdomThe main item is the Master Sword.

You can’t duplicate the Master Sword, but you can innovate Tears of the Kingdom Players have found a complicated, rather risky way to obtain an unbreakable version of the iconic sword. A one hour video by YouTuber El Duende 05, noted by ResetEra forum usersshows how to get the Master Sword from the game’s prologue. The sword is divided into at least seven parts: loading, storing, dropping and picking up weapons, playing with abilities, and a classic glitch hunting move called zuggling (simply put: stacking or combining weapons).

Timing is also very important. Players will need to be precise with their button inputs, in addition to being patient. The movements will eventually take Link outside the boundaries of the Hyrule map and land directly in Ganondorf beneath Hyrule Castle. At this point, there is a step that can go wrong, forcing you to go back to step three. Ouch! (A good place to note: players should do this at their own risk, as they may lose their save file.)

If players complete the series of glitches correctly, they will end up with a Master Sword labeled “MsgNotFound” – the Master Sword from the prologue, which is unbreakable. Tears of the Kingdom Players have obtained this same Master Sword in the game before using complicated (but not So complicated) faults, but Nintendo has fixed the problemThere’s always a chance that Nintendo will make this solution untenable as well.
