Zara Tindall suffers an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while shopping on the Gold Coast

Zara Tindall has been enjoying her time in Australia for the Magic Millions Carnival.

Princess Anne’s daughter has been busy putting on glamorous displays on the track with husband Mike Tindall during the prestigious two-week horse racing event.

But the 43-year-old royal proved she’s just like us after a common wardrobe mishap.

Zara appeared in a promotional video for the Gold Coast’s Pacific Fair shopping precinct, cutting a breezy figure in a blue and white floral-inspired dress for her day out.

The clip showed King Charles’ niece getting some retail therapy in the sprawling shopping center and enjoying a glass of bubbly at the on-site Pommery Bar.

“It’s great to be back in Australia, and I’m here at the Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast, my favorite place to shop,” Zara introduced the video.

It then cut to a shot of Zara arriving at the mall, sitting in the passenger seat of a black SUV.

It looked like Zara was too eager to start her shopping expedition as the hem of her dress was sticking out of the passenger door of the car.

No doubt a common mistake, but one that was quite a surprise for someone as elegant as Zara.

Zara and Mike are frequent visitors to the Australian coast and were in the country last year.

The pair spent Christmas in Britain before recently returning Down Under for the Magic Millions.

Zara and Mike are not working royals and do not take money from the Sovereign Grant to fund their lifestyle through various brand deals.

In 2012, Zara was announced as the first Magic Millions Racing Women ambassador.

Magic Millions has been a regular fixture on Zara’s calendar since that year, when she became patron following her Olympic silver medal win in London.

She now travels to Surfers Paradise in Queensland every year for the Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Seven days of auctions culminating in a major race meeting where all contenders are horses purchased at previous Magic Millions auctions.

During their trip to Australia last year, Zara and Mike were spotted shopping in luxury boutiques and taking part in wine tours.

The couple speaks lovingly about the country where their love story began.

They met in a Sydney bar in 2003, while Mike was ‘drowning his sorrows’ after being left out of England’s World Cup squad and Zara was on a gap year.

The couple have been married since 2011 and have three children: Mia Grace Tindall, 10, Lucas Tindall, three, and Lena Elizabeth Tindall, six.

Speak with Hello Magazine, Zara was quick to rave about her ‘home away from home’ Australia.

“We have always loved Australia and it is a home from home for us,” Zara said.

“We’ve been coming to Queensland for so long that it’s become a tradition for the start of the year… we couldn’t ask for a better way to start the year.”

Zara added: ‘[We love] coming out of the cold winter and into the warm heat and incredible water temperatures.

“The Gold Coast is just a great place to be; it has everything from beaches to horses and everything in between.”
