Zara McDermott flaunts her jaw-dropping figure in skimpy swimwear amid sun-soaked getaway with boyfriend Sam Thompson – after finally putting split rumours to bed

Zara McDermott rocked a whole host of skimpy swimwear during her sunny Ibiza vacation with boyfriend Sam Thompson on Saturday after finally putting an end to split rumors.

The 27-year-old Love Island star showed off her stunning figure in a chic black swimsuit, before relaxing poolside in a thong bikini.

Zara shared sizzling snaps on her Instagram showing off a host of chic outfits before snuggling up to Sam to celebrate his 32nd birthday on the island.

The couple are joined by the I’m A Celeb winner’s sister Louise Thompson and her fiancé Ryan Libbey, with one photo showing them enjoying dinner together.

Zara wrote in the post, joking about her tan: ‘She’s almost turned into a jamon serrano [Spanish-style slow aged ham]’.

The couple were spotted making declarations of love on a nearby beach on Wednesday, following rumours they were giving their relationship “one last chance” after weeks of “crisis talks”.

Sam and Zara, who have been together for four years, have sparked rumors in recent weeks that they have split after a heated argument.

During their ‘rocky’ period, Zara’s Strictly Pro partner Graziano Di Prima admitted kicking her during rehearsals last year and apologised after being fired from the BBC show over her claims.

As the shocking details of her Strictly experience emerged, it appeared Zara was simultaneously trying to salvage her long-term relationship with Sam behind closed doors.

It is said that ‘many tears’ have been shed and that their relationship has come under strain due to the allegations surrounding Graziano, but the couple are said to be staying together and doing everything they can to make the relationship work.

A source said OK magazine: ‘The past few months have been full of ups and downs for Zara and Sam and there have been times when they considered ending it all.

‘Ultimately that is [Graziano scandal] extra stress and pressure on her and Sam as they both had a lot to deal with. She feels her Strictly experience has been tarnished. There have been a lot of tears.

“But they both love each other very much and are determined to try again. They know what they have together and don’t want to have any regrets. They are determined to fight to stay together.”

Zara and Sam get a breakthrough after she breaks her silence over the news that her boyfriend Pete Wicks is joining the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Pete, 36, signed up for the show after it emerged that Zara was physically and verbally abused by her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima during last year’s competition.

She shared the news on Instagram and supported Pete, saying it made her “so happy.”

Zara reposted the official announcement, writing: “I’ve never been so excited. Love you.”

She added in a comment: ‘This makes me so happy. You’re going to have the best time. I’m so proud of you. I can’t wait to see you in some glitter and maybe even some hot pants.’

Sam also shared, “No words. So proud of you… the content we’re going to create that you don’t even know about yet.”

Zara and the former TOWIE star often joke about having a threesome with Zara’s boyfriend Sam, who has been best friends with Pete since 2019.

Despite their close friendship, he has secured a spot on the Strictly line-up after shocking reports emerged that Zara performed on the show with a ‘broken’ leg as a result of an injury during training and needed painkillers to get through the ten-hour rehearsals.

The latest revelation comes after professional dancer Graziano, 30, admitted kicking Zara during their sessions, leading to him being fired from the BBC series.

This follows claims that his abusive behaviour was captured on video, with Zara calling the footage ‘extremely painful to watch’.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Zara is so happy that Pete has got the job on Strictly.

“Her experience on the show was so individual – she hopes no one has to go through this again.”

They added: ‘She knows Pete will have a great time and could even impress the judges. He is incredibly hardworking and a good person and will thrive in an environment that can be intense, but he performs best when challenged and under pressure.

‘Zara doesn’t want what happens to her to get in the way of his Strictly adventure and is supporting Pete, even though it’s a little close to home.’

Last year, Pete sat in the Strictly studio audience with Sam and together they wore printed shirts with Zara’s face on them to show their support.

They posed for pictures with Zara and Graziano, who has since fled to his native Sicily after being sacked from Strictly.

The Sun reported that Zara needed painkillers to get through the ten-hour training sessions after breaking her shin bone during a Strictly match.

A source told The Sun that the TV star danced with a broken leg during the show’s Halloween week, and that it was ‘literally horror in every sense of the word.’

An X-ray showed that her ligaments were severely damaged and she had a stress fracture to her left tibia.

Show bosses only discovered the true extent of the injury two weeks ago when Zara spoke to private investigators during the investigation into Graziano’s behaviour.
