Zara McDermott and boyfriend Sam Thompson recreate ICONIC Come Dine With Me scene for Halloween
The celebrity world loves a good Halloween costume party and even though the bank holiday isn’t until Tuesday, Zara McDermott and her boyfriend Sam Thompson have pulled out all the stops.
In 2016, Peter Marsh made his iconic Jane rant in season 7 of the Channel 4 show Come Dine With, which has become a major meme on the internet.
Zara, 26, transformed into Peter, while Sam, 31, dressed up as Jane to recreate the iconic scene on Monday.
The Strictly Come Dancing star wore a purple pinstripe shirt and a short brown wig as he held up a sign that read: ‘You’ve won Jane. Enjoy the money. I hope it makes you happy.’
Meanwhile, Sam wore a white blazer, paired with glasses and a long dark brown wig.

In an instant, Zara held up a second sign that read: “Dear lord, what a sad life, Jane. You have the grace of a reversing dump truck with no tires.”
Sharing the hilarious photos on Instagram, Sam wrote: “We take Halloween very seriously in this household, tomorrow’s trickle treats will be a fun time.”
It’s been six years since one of the most iconic scenes in Come Dine With Me history, and possibly even TV history.
When Peter lost the £1,000 cash prize on the Channel 4 competition show, he was nothing short of furious.
Not only because he lost the money that was up for grabs, but also because he ended up in last place.
Shaking his head feverishly at winner Jane, Peter shouted, “Enjoy the money. I hope it makes you very happy.’
He followed the infamous line; ‘Dear Lord, what a sad life Jane. You completely ruined my evening so you could get the money.”

He told the winner to spend her winnings on “a few lessons in grace and decorum” as the three contestants sat awkwardly on the couch.
He continued, “Because you have the grace of a reversing dump truck with no tires.”
When fellow contestant Charlotte didn’t understand Mr Marsh’s rant, he replied: ‘Well, you wouldn’t. Let’s face it, there’s no one in there, honey.”
Shortly afterwards, he evicted the winner and two other contestants – Jane, Charlotte and Peter – from his home.
