Zakusu Shrine location and walkthrough in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Zakusu is a sanctuary within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘s Mt Lanayru.

Our guide will help you find the location of the Zakusu Shrine and lead you through the search for the shrine “The High Spring and the Light Rings” to collect the chest and Light of blessing.

To access the Zakusu Shrine, you need level two cold resistance and you must complete the quest for the shrine “The High Spring and the Light Rings”.

The Zakusu Shrine can be found in the Mount Lanayru region, but only appears after the “The High Spring and the Rings of Light‘sanctuary quest is complete. The exact coordinates for the Zakusu Shrine are (3527, -1481, 0168).

How to complete the quest for the shrine “The High Spring and the Light Rings”.

Nazbi the Treasure Hunter found at the entrance to the Spring of Wisdom in the Mount Lanayru region of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

1. Travel to the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower, which can be found on the west side of Hyrule.

2. Go west of the skyview tower to the Spring of Wisdom.

3. Interact with Nazbi, who can be found at the entrance to the Spring of Wisdom, to start the quest for the shrine “The High Spring and the Light Rings”.

4. Return to the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower and use it to take to the air.

5. Glide to the Sky Island southwest of the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. On this Sky Island you will find an altar similar to an altar to shrines.

6. Interact with the altar to start a short cutscene where you see a ring of light.

8. Equip the sled shield and use the shield to surf down the snowy slope through the ring of light.

9. Deploy your paraglider before you hit the ground and continue snowboarding through each ring of light. There are in total seven rings of light including those on the Sky Island.

10. Once you have successfully passed all seven rings of light, the Zakusu Shrine will reveal itself.

Zakusu Shrine Walkthrough

The Zakusu Shrine will test your knowledge of the Ascend ability as you take on numerous structures. As with other “Proving Grounds” challenges, you will not be able to use any of your equipment, but will instead be given some sticks and an old wooden shield.

Inside of the Zakusu Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, where Link is naked facing off against a bunch of Constructs.

In the challenge “Proving Grounds: Ascension” you must beat five soldier constructions And a Captain Construct. On every level you can find an enemy while climbing the walkways, except on the top floor where you will find the Captain Construct and one Soldier Construct.

If you defeat a Construct, make sure to use Fuse and combine their materials with your sticks to improve the attack damage on your weapons. Once you’ve defeated every enemy inside, you can unlock the chest to receive one Private IV spear and complete the shrine to one Light of blessing.
