Zachery Ty Bryan allegedly ‘punched a woman multiple times’ and threatened to kill her before his recent arrest
Zachary Ty Bryan’s latest arrest has brought to light disturbing allegations.
More details have emerged following the former Home Improvement star’s Jan. 1 arrest on domestic violence charges.
According to TMZthe alleged victim told police in Myrtle Beach, S.C., that the 43-year-old actor punched her in the face multiple times.
She also said the troubled woman, with whom she shares a child, put her in a chokehold, cut off her breathing and made her fear for her life, the police report said.
Bryan was arrested on a charge of second-degree domestic violence.
If convicted, he faces up to three years in prison and/or a fine of $2,500 to $5,000, under South Carolina law.

The Guardians of Justice (Will Save You) actor was released on a $10,000 bond.
Bryan, who starred as eldest son Brad Taylor on Home Improvement for eight years, was arrested in Oregon in 2020 for domestic violence, in which he was also accused of assault and strangulation, among other serious crimes.
In an agreement with prosecutors, Bryan pleaded guilty to two felonies, was sentenced to three years’ probation and ordered to attend a violence prevention program.
He was arrested again in July 2023 for a misdemeanor violation of Oregon’s Abuse Prevention Act.
To avoid 19 to 20 months in prison, Bryan pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree felony.
The deal called for 36 months of supervised probation, seven days in jail and a series of conditions, including no contact with the victim.
He was also ordered to undergo alcohol and substance abuse treatment The Hollywood Reporter.

Bryan posted $65,000 bail after he was arrested for driving under the influence in La Quinta, CA in February 2024.
Following his October 2024 arrest for drunken driving in Custer County, Oklahoma, he was released on $25,000 bail.
Bryan is scheduled to appear in court on March 28 on domestic violence charges in South Carolina.
