Zach Wilson’s mom breaks her silence on her son’s engagement to stunning model girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno

Zach Wilson’s mother has spoken out about her son’s romantic Italian proposal to his girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno.

Lisa Wilson is overjoyed with the Broncos’ new quarterback after getting engaged to the New Jersey native over the weekend.

‘I love this beauty with all my heart. [heart] Couldn’t have picked a better partner for my son. Congratulations @nicolettedellanno and @zachwilson,” the proud mother wrote on her Instagram Story in a now-expired post, alongside a photo of the newly engaged couple.

The former Jets quarterback, who is preparing for his first season in Denver this fall, proposed to Dellanno during a lavish vacation in Europe.

“To the love of my life, I never really understood what love was until I met you. You are not only my partner, but my best friend and my everything,” Wilson, 24, captioned a social media post on Sunday.

“I couldn’t have chosen a better partner for my son,” Lisa Wilson wrote on Instagram

“I can’t wait to create a lifetime of memories with you, Nic. I love you,” he added.

He shared a number of photos of the couple on the Amalfi Coast, which showed off her stunning diamond ring.

Dellanno looked stunning in a white silk dress with cutouts around her waist and an open back.

The model also carried a white handbag and accessorised with a stack of bracelets on her wrist, while her bright blonde locks were styled in loose curls.

Wilson wore an orange shirt with white linen pants and sneakers.

“Congratulations @nicolettedellanno and @zachwilson,” the proud mother added

Dellanno and Wilson – born in New Jersey – have been in a romantic relationship since 2022

“Zach, you are the best thing that ever happened to me,” Dellanno captioned her post.

“Every day I admire your strength and I am so incredibly proud of you. I am so in love with you and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together, I love you,” she added.

The couple started dating in 2022, after Wilson and his girlfriend Abbey Gile split.

The former Brigham Young player is preparing for his first season with the Broncos, where he hopes to be named the starting quarterback ahead of the veterans Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix, who the Broncos selected 12th overall in this year’s NFL Draft.

Wilson previously went 12-21 as the Jets’ starter and was deemed surplus to requirements when Aaron Rodgers returned from a torn Achilles tendon he suffered in last season’s season opener.
