Joe Burrow showed Zach Wilson exactly what an “elite” quarterback gets up to during a bye week, WFAN host Shaun Morash claims in a new swipe at the New York Jets star.

Morash was criticized earlier this week after attacking Wilson for spending his bye week on vacation in Utah with girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno, even though the Jets next had a crucial game against archrival the New York Giants.

“Zach Wilson, in what is shaping up to be the biggest part of his career, decided it was a good time to take his girlfriend to Utah to pick apples and pumpkins and go to haunted houses,” he said Wednesday during the episode of ‘Evan & Tiki’ on WFAN radio.

A number of fans disagreed with his criticism of Wilson and fired back at the radio host, arguing that NFL players going on vacation during a bye week is nothing new.

Morash labeled Wilson a “disgrace” for leaving for Utah a week after the Jets’ clash with the New York Giants

And he has pointed to Cincinnati Bengals colleague Joe Burrow, who spent his bye week at home, as an example of how an “elite” quarterback spends the bye week.

Morash took aim at Wilson once again by spotlighting Burrow’s recording this week

However, Morash has now pointed to Cincinnati Bengals QB Burrow – who also just enjoyed a bye week – as confirmation of his own position.

When asked how he spent his free time, Burrow told reporters ahead of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers: “Absolutely nothing. Sat on the couch, rested, ate, watched football, lifted – so it was a good week.’

And Morash believes the Cincinnati star has shown Wilson exactly how it’s done.

Quoting a post of Burrow’s comments, he wrote, “Gasbag says Zach Wilson shouldn’t have gone to Utah all week.”

“Look what an elite QB did on his farewell… oh, I stayed in Cincy all week.”

Last Saturday, Wilson and his girlfriend Dellano, a model from New Jersey, were caught by his mother at Cornbelly’s, a corn maze and pumpkin festival in Lehi, as the spooky season approached.

The couple posed in front of the venue’s sign, which was made of human skulls, as they coordinated the color combinations of the outfits. The former first-round pick was also recorded throwing a football by his mother at one point.

“Like we don’t get enough football,” she captioned her Instagram Story of her son scanning the field.

Wilson and the Jets are at .500 with a 3-3 record after an impressive win over the Eagles last time out.

The Jets’ No. 2 pick, who became a starter after Aaron Rodgers went down with a torn Achilles tendon in Week 1, threw for 186 yards in New York’s last appearance at MetLife Stadium, a 20-14 win against Philadelphia.
