Zach Braff revealed that he adopted a new puppy after being “officially away from the foster parent.”
The Scrubs star, 49, took to Instagram to introduce his new best friend – an adorable pit bull named Penny – in an adorable video.
The actor started his video by wrapping his arms around the precious pooch, planting a kiss on her head and asking her, “Do you want to tell them or do you want me to tell them?”
This comes a few months after he debuted his new, younger girlfriend – and his fans seem convinced he secretly married her – two years after his divorce from Florence Pugh.
He turned to the camera and then said, “We wanted to come tell you that I have officially failed.
“And Penny, as Chunk says to Sloth in The Goonies, ‘You’re going to live with me now.’ OK? Is there anything else you want to say?’

When his dog started licking his face, he broke into a smile and said, “I know, but is something wrong?” Honey, is there anything you want to say to the people? Is there anything you want to say to people?
He kissed Penny on the head a few times before ending the video.
Alongside the clip, he wrote in his caption: “I’m officially a failure.”
He explained that he agreed to help when a local nonprofit contacted him about taking in Penny, but he said “it was love at first sight.”
“Thank you so much to @lisaschiarelli for asking to take care of this beautiful creature found wandering the city streets,” he wrote, sharing a bit about his puppy’s background.
‘From there she lived in a concrete outdoor cage for two months. Lisa posted to get her out of there and I said I could help,” he continued.
“But it was love at first sight,” the French Girl star added.
“Thank you to @packvida for training both Penny and me,” he wrote alongside three red hearts and a puppy emoji.

Braff’s introduction of the new girl into his life comes shortly after he debuted his romance with singer-songwriter Frances Whitney, 26, last October.

At the time, fans were convinced he was secretly getting married when he shared a video with his Oura ring on his wedding ring finger.
However, just a few weeks later, he was seen getting very close with a mystery woman, who was not Whitney, in his car.
