YouTuber Twomad’s cause of death revealed six months after controversial star’s passing aged 23
The cause of death of YouTube star Twomad has been revealed, six months after he passed away at the age of 23.
The controversial Canadian social media star – real name Muudea Sedik – was found dead in his Los Angeles-area home on February 13, 2024, after police said his therapist had requested a welfare check for him.
Twomad died of an accidental morphine overdose – with morphine poisoning noted in the Los Angeles County coroner’s report, obtained by TMZ.
Mitragynine, another drug often used to treat opioid withdrawal, also contributed to his death, the report said.
Police sources said earlier that the death was being investigated as a possible overdose. Drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.

A few days before he was found dead, Twomad caused a stir when he posted photos showing assault rifles inside.
He had over 2.2 million subscribers on his YouTube channel Twomad 360 and 395,000 followers on Instagram.
At the time of his death, his YouTube channel had accumulated 156 videos and amassed over 200 million views,
After his death, fellow YouTuber Jameskii accused Sedik of trying to kill him ‘several times’ and of the fact that Sedik was ‘a rapist and a pedophile’.
“Over the past few years, he has attempted to kill me multiple times for helping police and investigators in multiple states investigate the many horrible things he has done,” Jameskii wrote on X.
In 2023, X-user @Goldibell accused Sedik of sexually abusing her, and sending her a flood of unanswered text messages.
‘[S]Pam from Twomad: After I blocked him for texting me, he then created 6 more phone numbers to spam me, plus an Instagram account and a Twitter account. If you want proof that I have it all, just ask. You can see him actively texting at the end of this clip,” she wrote.
Sedik denied the allegationsin which he writes that he has “never sexually assaulted anyone in his life, but I’m not going to stop that deranged idiot from lying to that YouTuber.”
Goldbell a statement posted after Sedik’s death, saying: ‘I’m not celebrating, I hope his family is OK, although I’m sure they’re not. Losing your child is tragic, no matter the circumstances.’

After his death, YouTube colleague Jameskii accused Sedik of trying to kill him “multiple times” and claimed Sedik was “a rapist and a pedophile”
Jameskii’s roommate at the time quoted the post and confirmed the stories of Sedik’s harassment
Jameskii continued his accusations, claiming that Sedik “wanted to take multiple innocent lives by getting behind the wheel and driving head-on on the highway while high on illegal drugs. He couldn’t do it once because he overdosed before he killed anyone, so he tried again.”
He added that despite Sedik’s alleged attempts to kill him, Jameskii “tried to assist law enforcement by making sure he was safe, not injured and not harming anyone.”
‘Please remember he is a rapist and a paedophile, he continued to exploit the vulnerable even after the police became involved, including a 13-year-old in a psychiatric facility. The tragedy is no excuse for his actions,’ he added.
Jameskii’s roommate quoted the message at the time and confirmed the stories of Sedik’s intimidation.
Sedik started posting videos in 2016, using YouTube as a platform for streaming video games and creating comedy sketches.
Despite his massive following, Sedik hadn’t posted a new video to YouTube in over a year. He did, however, post videos on X and stream them on Twitch and Discord. At one point, he even collaborated with an OnlyFans model.
In 2009, he created the Goodnight Girl meme with his videos filled with comedy sketches and gaming content.

Goldibell released a statement after Sedik’s death saying, “I’m not celebrating, I hope his family is okay, although I’m sure they are not. Losing your child is tragic, no matter the circumstances.”
He is credited with popularizing “zoombombing” — the practice of randomly entering online meetings and conferences and then live-streaming them.
In 2022, he caused controversy by doing a sexually suggestive Toy Story shoot with internet personality Belle Delphine.
In 2019, he was accused of racism after portraying BTS member Jimin in a video with whiteface and a blonde wig.
In 2021, Sedik attended a BTS concert wearing an Asian conical hat and holding up an edited photo that combined the faces of BTS member V and communist leader Mao Zedong. He joked that the photo depicted his father.
In 2023, he also faced online criticism for posting a photo of murdered transgender teen Brianna Ghey and saying she was his “girlfriend.”
