Popular YouTube star Abhradeep ‘Angry Rantman’ Saha has passed away at the age of 27 after complications following a ‘major’ surgery.

The YouTuber died on April 16 after apparent complications from an unspecified “major surgery” in March, according to a series of posts from his family on his YouTube community page.

Abhradeep’s death was confirmed by his family in a statement posted to him social media accounts.

“It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the sad and untimely death of Abhradeep Saha aka #AngryRantman today at 10:18 AM IST,” the statement said.

“He touched the lives of millions of people with his honesty, humor and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The statement continued: “As we mourn his loss, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and hold on to the precious memories we share together. Inspiring change, one rant at a time.”

The family had updated fans about his condition as he recovered from surgery.

“The surgery went well, just the complications after the surgery, let’s all pray for his recovery, God bless!!!” Abhradeep’s family wrote at the time.

In early April, they informed fans of the influencer’s condition and revealed that he was in intensive care.

“Let’s hope for the best,” they wrote on his YouTube community page.

On April 14, they notified fans that he was in a “really critical situation.”

“He is in a very critical situation with a life-saving support system, praying for a faster recovery,” the message read.

Abhradeep, who had 128,000 followers on Instagram and 487,000 on YouTube, became famous for his sports analysis videos, especially football and cricket.
