YouTube star Alex Stein has confirmed his fight with TikTok sensation Mo Deen has been called off after he threw “hot dogs” at his rival.
Stein and Mo Deen were set to face off in a Misfits Boxing event this weekend and attended a press conference ahead of their clash on Thursday.
During the press conference, Stein stood up, turned to his opponent and said, “I brought you a small present because I know you like hot dogs” before launching sausages from a container at Mo Deen.
Mo Deen was furious and scrambled onto a table to try to get to Stein, while security intervened to prevent him from attacking the YouTuber.
Meanwhile, Stein continued to goad Mo Deen, claiming, “I know you love that. You like pork, don’t you?’

His actions led to a brawl, with Mo Deen having to be restrained by security
Stein has since confirmed that his fight with Mo Deen has been canceled by Misfits Boxing
Mo Deen is a practicing Muslim. Pork is considered haram (forbidden) by Muslims, which explains Mo Deen’s furious response.
After the incident, Misfits quickly responded and removed Stein from their map.
Stein announced the news by posting a letter from Misfits on his social media.
The letter titled ‘Termination of Contract’ read: ‘Dear Mr. Stein, at today’s press conference (Thursday), you threw sausages, believed to be pork, at Mr. Mohammad Kubba a/k/a Mo Deen, your planned opponent, causing an argument between Mr. Kubba and yourself. This fight caused the destruction of the press conference stage.
“You are discrediting the name and reputation of Misfits Boxing, its shareholders and its partners.”
Despite suggesting at the time that he threw “hot dogs” made of pork at Mo Deen, Stein seemed to backtrack when he posted his contract termination letter on Twitter.
He wrote, “I just canceled my fight for throwing turkey dogs at Mo Deen!” Turkey is eaten by Muslims, provided that the animal has been slaughtered according to Islamic guidelines.
Mo Deen has since responded to the cancellation on Twitter, stating that he is “heartbroken” he will no longer be fighting, and has supported Stein’s claim that it wasn’t actually pork that was thrown at him.
Stein is a supporter of Donald Trump who has previously called for the former president to be released from all charges
“I feel heartbroken because my fight is being canceled due to someone else’s actions and I’m not getting a chance to punch this guy in the face,” he said.
“They found out it wasn’t pork, but chicken or whatever. So that’s calm. As long as it wasn’t (pork), it’s not that deep.”
Stein is a 36-year-old right-wing YouTube personality. He started his online career by participating in food challenges on YouTube in 2011, and now has his own show Primetime with Alex Stein on the American media network Blaze Media.
He is also a supporter of former President Donald Trump and appeared at Trump Tower in New York earlier this year to call for the 77-year-old to be acquitted of all charges against him.
