Yours for a tenner? Stunning £3.5million mansion overlooking Gleneagles golf course is latest luxury home to be put up for grabs in Omaze prize draw

A stunning £3.5 million home overlooking Gleneagles Golf Course is the latest luxury property to be put up for sale in the Omaze prize draw.

The spectacular six-bedroom house in Scotland has a breathtaking backdrop of the Ochil Hills and features a one-bedroom guest house.

It comes mortgage free and all stamp duty and legal costs are covered. The prize is reportedly worth more than £3,500,000 and comes with £100,000 in cash as part of the Omaze draw, which costs just £10 to enter.

It is part of a new campaign to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Now, the research and support organization during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

It’s the first ever Omaze to be held in Scotland and the winner will get the keys to the property, complete with its own entertainment room, recreation room, cinema room, guest accommodation and even a golf simulator.

The winner can decide to live in the house, rent it out for additional income or sell it to become a multi-millionaire.

If the winner decides to rent, local agents estimate the property could reach an annual rental value of around £7,500 per month.

The modern property is set in over half an acre of mature gardens and grounds.

The heart of the house is an elegant open kitchen and dining room that opens onto the south-facing garden through sliding doors.

The room is further complemented by a cozy lounge area, connected to the dining area by a double-sided fireplace.

The kitchen features a central island with breakfast bar, as well as granite worktops and quality integrated appliances including an oven, induction hob, steam oven, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, microwave and ice maker.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a cinema room, with a built-in state-of-the-art audiovisual system and blackout curtains.

There are also two studies on the ground floor, both of which can be used as additional bedrooms. There is also a utility room on this floor, with utility room and door to the garden.

There is also a luggage room and a vaulted cellar with brick alcoves. In addition, there is an adjacent technical room in the basement.

One of the highlights of the building is the entertainment room on the first floor. It features wooden beams, a double-wide stove with a stone surround and floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows.

An interior balcony from the second floor overlooks the room, with a custom stone-topped bar to one side and a south-facing balcony to the other, overlooking The Queen’s Course and Ochil Hill.

The top floor serves as a peaceful retreat, with a cozy room with a private balcony and fireplace. There are two further double bedrooms on this floor, one with an en suite bathroom and separate shower, the other with its own dressing room and shower room.

An exterior staircase leads to a virtual golf room above the garage. The golf simulator allows players to choose from several courses, including Gleneagles, making it an excellent option for indoor entertainment.

There is a front garden with filled borders and flower beds, and the main gardens are to the rear.

The draw was launched by Scottish broadcaster and Breast Cancer Now ambassador Kaye Adams.

Kaye said: “I am absolutely thrilled that Omaze has come to my beloved Scotland for the final home draw for the first time ever.

‘What’s even better is that the money raised will help Breast Cancer Now continue its world-class research and life-changing support.

‘Breast Cancer Now is a charity that is incredibly close to my heart. I have had many friends and colleagues who have been affected by breast cancer.

‘Your support of the Omaze Million Pound House Draw will ensure Breast Cancer Now can continue to be there for everyone affected by breast cancer.’

James Oakes, Chief International Officer at Omaze, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Breast Cancer Now for our first ever home draw in Scotland.

‘By offering this beautiful property, along with £100,000 in cash, we are giving people the choice to either live in a fantastic home, rent it out for additional income or simply sell and become multi-millionaires. At the same time, we raise money and increase awareness for charities by introducing them to a large, brand new audience.

“We are extremely proud that the Omaze community has already raised £18,750,000 for charities across the UK.”
