‘You’re joking?’, Jude Bellingham is left STUNNED after discovering his EAFC 24 rating in key underrated stat as Real Madrid teammates mock England star’s running style

Jude Bellingham was far from impressed after discovering his pace for EAFC 24 was slower than a year ago.

The 20-year-old has taken LaLiga by storm following a £113million move to Real Madrid and has continued the excellent form he showed at Borussia Dortmund last season.

The England international has already scored five goals in his first four games for the Spanish giants and was equally impressive at international level with an excellent performance in the victory over Scotland on Tuesday evening.

Blessed with speed on the ball and a commanding presence, Bellingham is very much the prototype of the perfect modern midfielder, but the makers of EAFC 24 appear to have a different opinion.

Bellingham discovered his video game ratings in a video recording for Real Madrid’s YouTube channel.

The England midfielder and his teammates Brahim Diaz, Lucas Vazquez and Rodrygo were all asked to predict their pace.

“I must be about 84,” said the former Borussia Dortmund.

Although Diaz, Vazquez and Rodrygo had guessed correctly or almost guessed it, Bellingham could not hide his disappointment when it turned out that his pace was 76.

As a visibly stunned Bellingham tried to understand the assessment, Diaz gently mocked him by trying to mimic his running style.

“You run like that all the time, mate,” said the Madrid star, much to the amusement of his teammates.

What makes Bellingham’s rating even more bizarre is that it is lower than last year, a change that the England international immediately noticed.

‘You are joking? Last year I was more, so I went down?” he said incredulously.

The hugely successful franchise, formerly known as FIFA, has undergone a rebrand to EAFC this season after EA Sports opted not to renew its license with the governing body after almost 30 years.

The ratings in the game have been a major topic of conversation for years, not only among fans, but also among the players themselves.

And it’s a clear sign that football is entering a new era: neither Lionel Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo are ranked as the game’s highest-rated player.

In fact, both players have been downgraded from their ratings from last year, with Messi dropping to 90 and Ronaldo to 86.
